Well Fanny, This part way explains my now much LOUDER LONGER "farts". As I am now eating less food and more fibre as a % of my reduced total intake. Luckily the % of my farts that have an unpleasant odour (as judged by my partner) are far fewer now than prior to banding. If only I could put a cork in "it" when we go to bed at night. What else can I say except sit back raise a cheek and enjoy!!!!!!!!!

Glad I discovered this topic as I was beginning to get bloated ....what with my "cheeks" crossed in an effort to stop the thunder from down under. I was been banded about 5 months ago and there has been no let up, usually as soon as I relax in bed. Fortunately in the main its noise only and little if any odour

hi, I was banded at the 'Avenue" in Melbourne. March 08.Can recommend.

my band is a 10ml, and to date I have it 50% filled. 3ml the first fill and 1ml on each subsiquent fill. I eat and drink but reduce the quantities I eat but as yet the band has not restricted my volume intake.

I had my first fill april 17th. As yet I have no restriction on quantity of food I can consume at a sitting. Any restrictions is due to me trying to change the qty & type of food I eat.How often should I ask to be "filled"?

well I've been for my 3rd fill already. At some time in the future I guess that I will reach saturation point.

I've just had my second fill and am already it appears to have made a difference. Time will tell. Thanks for your helpful advice

Within 2 hours of breakfast I encounter hunger "pains" & fill up with coffe/tea & then a small meal for lunch, no calorie liquids till evening meal. By which time I am famished so I tend to "stuff" myself. Guess it's time I suggested to the centre that I need a second fill. Thank you for your responses

I've recently had my first fill and it appears to have no effect on the amount of food I consume. I guess it comes down to a lifestyle choice that has to be made. Have you been to have your chest x-rayed to ensure that the band has not slipped?

I had my first fill a.m. today I was banded March 14th. As yet I feel unrestricted, although from reading earlier posts on this topic it may take a day or two to be effective. I live in hope.
