  1. I hate this bloated feeling😩 So I am going to go do some walking and then make a drug store run.
  2. So glad work went well for you. Believe it or not I am looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday. I am feeling mostly great too. My daughter is working and going to school also so I know how hard that can be. Good for you for managing it all!
  3. I am also not regular yet. I had one BM the day before I got home and nothing since. I started taking 2 dulcolax per day on Tuesday, but still nothing. I tried to take MOM, but it made me nauseous. I think I am going to buy some miralax today. I hope things start moving for you.
  4. I have been on a similar post-op plan as you. Are you taking your vitamins now? I would check your blood sugar to makes sure it isn't dropping too low. I did fine on the clear liquids, but I was drinking a lot of homemade broths which were really satisfying to me. I would also try some well blended creamy soups if you can. Hang in there and each day should get better.
  5. No, I was fine. I think I stopped just in time. No more mindless eating for awhile until we learn the limits of our new stomachs.
  6. I keep googling recipes for puréed foods..lol.. and also for ideas on healthy foods to replace my favorites that I really shouldn't eat anymore. I love crackers and I found a recipe to make cheese crackers with just sliced cheese. @mishyk I love your profile pic. You are beautiful ☺️
  7. I had some head hunger early on. I think it was just because I was watching my dh eat and I was only allowed clear fluids. Now that I am able to have shakes and yogurt it hasn't happened again.
  8. Gotta have the Keurig machine, I love mine. I am allowing myself 2 cups per day.
  9. Very nice @Newme17. You have lots of cabinet space! I need new cabinets. We got new countertops about 5 years ago, but kept the same cabinets because we just couldn't stretch our budget.
  10. Mine did too,but I felt full pretty quick. As soon as I started burping I stopped eating. I can see how it would be easy to take one bite too many and feel sick.
  11. Your plan lists a ton of choices mine is a little less specific kind of lumping. It says I can puréed meats next week. I am most excited for the cottage cheese and fruit smoothies ☺️
  12. I have to give a shout out to the valets working for Bariactric Pal MX. Today Juan took us to a great seafood restaurant that served shrimp broth. Well I don't eat shellfish and he had no way of knowing that. I was really ok with it because I wasn't even hungry and I told him I would just get some broth at the hotel. Well a few hours later he calls me and says he is out and would pick me up some French onion broth from Caesars because he knew how much I liked it and he felt bad that i didn't like the shrimp broth. Now that is someone who truly cares about taking care of their patients. I have had such a great experience here and I want to let anyone know if they are still thinking about using Bariactric Pal, just do it, you won't be disappointed.

    100 Pounds Lost Pin

    That is awesome ☺️
  14. Great. I can't wait to see your photos!
  15. That is great news @patty0715. Congrats on the big loss☺️I am about to have a little puréed soup myself. It is really more like super creamy, I blended it so well there are no chunks at all.
  16. I used a can of crushed tomatoes and chicken stock for the base. I added 2 big cloves of garlic, parsley flakes, salt, pepper, and a little cyan pepper.
  17. Thank you @Sweet as peaches. I love to cook and my dh never complains. My biggest issue has never been what I eat, I cook healthy foods...I just eat too much of them. Hoping this sleeve helps me learn portion control. I like quick recipe ideas also and yours sounds perfect for a quick snack.
  18. I noticed I can take almost normal sized sips now without any problems. I haven't tried to jug anything yet, but I am definitely able to drink more.
  19. That sounds yummy @Sweet as peaches. Tonight is a soup night. I hope we both do good with our purred soups.
  20. That is so cool. What kind of counters did you get? I love string cheese so I will be trying that soon enough. I scooped out some soup to put in my blender and I made sure it was mostly broth, but added a few pieces of sausage and potatoes and squash. I avoided the beans for right now. I can't wait to try it, just waiting on my dh to finish cutting the grass.
  21. Yea, I would say 9 months and 22 pounds is big. She was 10 pounds at birth and my daughter is a small 5'4". She had a scheduled C-section..lol.. Big babies run in my Son-in-laws family. I did have a great time today. I have 3 grand babies all from my daughter, 2 girls and a boy.
  22. @Sweet as peaches I think all of us could say the same thing. The solution is to dust ourselves off and get back up. A mistake today doesn't mean tomorrow is over. We got this!!
  23. I tried not to pick her up much because she weighs 22 pounds already. She is a big girl. She will probably be walking in another 2 weeks. She walks holding on to the furniture and crawls all over. I was chasing her Most of the time. She was only here for 3 hours but I am pooped.
  24. I like that idea @Newme17. My first goal was to just get through the surgery without major complications. Check! 2nd goal was to stop my diabetes meds. I am not ready to check that one off yet. I want to see what happens when I start eating solid food with a few more carbs. So for right now that is still my goal and also to get out of the 200's.
