I am 15 days post op. When I take even a tiny sip of water it causes intense cramping. Before surgery I was a big water drinker. I know I need to keep hydrated. Has anyone else had this problem?

Unjury can be ordered online or you can call and ask for quick shipping. It is medical quality protein and I think it's really good. I like the chocolate splendor. They also have a chicken soup if you want something warm. It works really good for me I'm 17 days post op. -
Try warm decaf tea.

My doctor suggest phase 1 foods are soft and high protein. 1 egg scrambled, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, 1/2 cup refried beans with 2 table spoons shredded cheese. These are just a few things. Try only one new food each day. Avoid any spicy seasoning. I'm 16 days out. I tried a scrambled egg 13 days post op and the pain was terrible! After that initial problem I have been doing pretty good. I just cannot drink or sip water without terrible cramping and pain.

Thank you so much! I can only sip room temperature or warm water. I'm still in the stage of wondering what I've done to myself. I know it has to get better. I'll try the protein water, I hope it helps!

A warm cup of Smooth Move Tea made by Traditional Medicine works great! It was recommended by the head of the bariatric program at the hospital I went to.
