I am sick of waiting. I've waited for over a year and just found out I have 3 more years to go! I need to get my PCOS in check and try to conceive before I REALLY have no chance (I'm early thirties) Anyone that has had RNY - gastric bypass in Mexico, can you recommend a doctor? Can you tell me how long you waited? Cost?

Have you started the process yet? My referral was sent to medicine hat and I've waited almost a year and still haven't been contacted by anyone so it's been sent to calgary now. How soon after they received your referral did you start the process? -

I Have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which is getting worse and worse. Was at a gynocologist appt last week in High River and he said i need to loose about 50 lbs before i can be considered for surgery to help my PCOS. I think i also have the early staged of Diabetes, i have pins and needles in my feet, dizziness, frequent urination, etc... thats it so far, -

I am currently on the wait list in both Calgary and Medicine Hat. 3 years for both. I've been waiting 10 months now with not a single contact by either city. Mexico is looking like my only option if I want to try and have a child before menopause :/ -

I'm from BC I was told I could be waiting game 3-5 years for gastric bypass. Thinking of going to Mexico.
