What order should the plastics be done?
gelyscomet replied to GotProlactinoma's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I’ve had a breastlift with augmentation consultation for over $7000, saving to get it done next year, would like my arms and a butt lift if I had 3 wishes -

Stomach Cramps after "Eating"
gelyscomet replied to amb052492's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had RNY 10/03/17, I occasionally get this pain from eating or drinking and it comes suddenly, I feel it helps to walk immediately when pain starts within a few minutes pain is gone, I'm learning what triggers this and try to avoid repeating it, like drinking ice cold water, some recommended foods that just don't agree with me. Hope you feel better. -

Had surgery 10/03/17, still using CPAP, tried not using it a few nights after surgery, but woke up with headache, I'll use it till my primary tells me I won't need it, hopefully when I lose most of my weight. A friend of mine after full recovery overcame sleep apnea, asthma, diabetes, and HBP, so I have hope.

One week post op too, first few nights had hard time sleeping, couldn't get comfortable, had some coughing so I felt I had to sleep sitting up, once that passed I actually slept flat and feel that helped open my abdomen to breathe better, plus I still use a CPAP machine, which is why I did this so I don't sleep with a machine for the rest of my life, in short it gets better and do breathing exercises and walk walk walk
-
One week post-op, same experience, released next day, no nausea or vomiting, totally sticking to meal plan, lost 15 lbs since surgery probably mostly water weight, breathing got better day by day, walk walk walk my friend.

Had RNY and hiatal hernia repair 10/03/17, so far everything went well, bit soar, but I occasionally cough up phlegm which hurts to cough. Does anyone experience this and how long does it take to go away?

Revision from sleeve to Rny bc of gerd
gelyscomet replied to Maria Castillo's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Same here, I wasn't aware my gerd was as bad as swallow test & endoscopy revealed so I'm having to do RNY, plus they'll have to fix my hiatal hernia as well and I have H pylori that I'm also being treated for, when it rains it pours, goal is to lose weight & live a healthier life & to get rid of sleep apnea & HBP. -

New too, met with surgeon today (ALSA medical Fresno Ca), next appt w/nutritionist, I'm 46 with HBP and sleep apnea, starting weight 238, ready for this new journey, not easy to share with others, nice to have this and know I'm not alone
