  1. Yep...I am sure I could fit size 8 jeans if it wasn't for the belly blob, it is stubborn stubborn stubborn!!! Hang in there it WILL eventually leave. And plus sizes are just horrid, tank tops/sleeveless always have ginormous armholes down to your waist and are super wide in the upper bust area and ALWAYS low bust points and mega hips.....and inconsistent sizes. When you get to regular sizes every 10 lbs is a size change - you will be surprised, get EXCITED cuz it goes fast....
  2. @Matt Z weight lost was probably all that anniversary and birthday sex... lol Glad you had mega fun! Rest of you peeps - hello - I am watching skinny hubs stress eat chips, nacho cheese, chocolate, can I just get out the duct tape now - makes me crazy......

    Doomed

Try bone broth, sf crystal light and some protein water, get in the habit of carrying a drink with you everywhere - because after surgery you can get dehydrated really fast and be in trouble healthwise. You are thirsty and hungry by not eating during the day and unable to cope at night while looking for stress relief besides. Most of us had 10-14 days of 800 cal liquid protein, and NO food, and then clear liquids for 24 hrs before surgery. You have enough time to get in gear, but please stay hydrated. ( don't get mad @FluffyChix - remember the veterans on here have all been right where you are, and truly want to share our experience, encouragement and help - and if you knew her you would know she was being sarcastic and attempting wittiness along with worrying)

    catching a cold before surgery

If just a cold and you have no fever within 48 hours you should be fine.
  5. Two bites hash brown, 2 bites t sausage, 3 bites scr egg...I cannot eat more.....lol gotta love this sleeve.
  6. @FluffyChix 54° brrrr, please...it's 23° here......creative writing - "Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you for the rest of the day." Mark Twain (stop procrastinating) @Matt Z - keep healing...sending good vibes (not vibrators, just vibes) @sillykitty - I am sort meh myself, doing slightly better than half-assing IF, but only slightly. @GreenTealael and@Orchids&Dragons you guys crack me up.... Everyone else have a good weekend, I am about to 'eat my own live frog' by starting to clean house for the holidays today....and herd grandkids, much like herding cats, but whatever..
  7. Been there, done that.... 'The slimes' ahh remember it well! You will get the hang of eating a couple ounces and.....waiting. Now I stop before I am full....and about five minutes later I get the hiccups...it used to be a runny nose, sneezing and hiccups.... We all get better at gauging how many bites, be careful with some meats - I still can't tolerate chicken breast, too dry - I eat thighs. And lettuce - I can handle just a little lettuce now. I make salad w spinach, cucumber, a little radish and slice of tomato - but it was months down the road before that stayed down. I still am iffy with chocolate because sf chocolate pudding made me barf after surgery....
  8. Now you're talking girl.... (My Cacique went to Goodwill and yours will too!!!) (I'm going to take a picture in front of Lane Bryant cutting my card in half next time I'm near the mall)
  9. Mine is horrendously thin....at one year out and I still lose some daily and I ate all my protein, drank all my water and took biotin.....and then cry and avoid looking from the neck up in the mirror. But my daughters started using Zenegen shampoo and says their hair brush is empty and their hair is shiny for the first time in years - it's hella expensive....find a hairdresser friend and talk her into a deep discount. Ima get some......
  10. I don't think you have broken up with food yet. You are approaching wanting the treat for the 'high', that soothing feeling you get when the creamy goodness hits the back of your tongue and mmmmm you swoon. Food rewards are a mindset you need to let go of, find a substitute that is not food now while it is 'easy' to follow the rules. I know you think we are being harsh....really we aren't trying to be mean or Nazis - we are in your corner. Hell we are IN the ring beside you fighting for ourselves and YOU cheering you on ALL the way!!! There will be all the time in the world to introduce that stuff into your plan, but there is only this window early on where it is easy to restrict and frankly if you do treats now you will lose weight, no issue so you think hey this surgery works, huh I CAN have treats and I'm losing weight. Yep. Then you will think that your plan will be how it works for all eternity. The mind can be the real Nazi.....lies lies lies it lies, it rationalizes. Trust us, we have been down that road you just got on.... Hang in there, cultivate some hobbies that keep you busy. Everyday isn't your birthday.
  11. Hang in there, I'd like to tell you that after awhile you won't mind the food fest others are partaking, but I'm not going to lie to you. These challenges will exist forever....sucks doesn't it. But just make one decision at a time, 'I will not cave in to the pizza.' Get out a clothing catalog and picture yourself wearing one of the fabulous outfits - hell go to the computer and order something....lol Go put on lipstick (and perfume so you smell it and not pizza) - you won't feel like messing up your lipstick with food - tell the hubs not to pig out too much or he will be in a food coma and no nookie...lol (he'll leave the table for that lol) See you aren't thinking about that food now are ya!!!

    Neck/facelift, Anyone?

    You look great! Woohoo!
  13. @Matt Z just my twisted humor, trying to make you laugh.... (My bored daughter at work actually created this 'work of art' and sent it to me. I spit my tea out laughing.... something about she tried to be ambidextrous and this was the result, told her she needed to try 'harder')
  14. Ok. You guys are THE BEST! @Matt Z I feel for you dude, I have had shingles 3 effing times. Hang in there
  15. Egg, turkey burger, pepper cojack cheese
  16. @GreenTealael you look really gorgeous in your latest picture!!!
  17. Today's macros 747 cals 49P 60 C Done for the day.
  18. @FluffyChix actually if you just stick to Ryder's minimalist style you won't get sucked into the vortex of turning it into a scrapbook... lol The brain dump is really great for people like me that have 87,000 thoughts constantly running in your head, and eliminating the 'noise' so I can set priorities. I still use the calendar on my phone.
  19. @FluffyChix I fear telling you about bullet journals..... Disclaimer warning: I bear no responsibility for anyone becoming a bullet journal junkie.
  20. Ok. So I have been half-assing this IF thing. Y'all are inspiring me. I have jumped on the 'bullet journal' bandwagon (I am always late to the party) and set up a November IF tracker in it his morning, so I can track it old school analog, and maybe be more mindful.... I have hella ADD and anxiety, so I think this journal thing is going to be very good for me on several accounts.
  21. @FluffyChix they were honey crisp apples! I can't do much lettuce either, wilted spinach is okay. Cukes, radishes, tomato, green beans, etc all are ok. Uh..have had a virus for 8 days now, no puking, no sore throat/coughing, just bone tired, fever/chills/sweats.. Turkey burger, cheese, tomato
  22. @FluffyChix that is NOT ME!! That is granddaughter in Halloween costume I sewed, she is some Anime Red Haired Snow White....LOL (I would take credit for her looks but she is spitting image of ex-DIL)
