Different Surgeons Different Rules
vsg_queendiet replied to ayanna_vsg's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've seen alot of different food plans after surgery. I've seen people next day after surgery was allowed to eat tuna. Each doctor different. I follow my doctor because I didn't wanna not follow it and be the person who ended up back in the hospital. HW: 420 (January 2016) CW: 260 (March 2017) Instagram: vsg_queendiet -

I'm a little ticked, and in need of advice.
vsg_queendiet replied to NixNichi's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Try not to stress about it so much. Alot of people are just curious and actually don't know anything about it. If they ask tell them and be proud. You loss alot of weight so far. You must feel great and be very proud of yourself. Weightloss surgery isn't a easy decision to make. In the end this surgery is just a tool. Your still doing all the work to get the weight off. I hope that everything goes well. You got this. Stay strong [emoji173] HW: 420 (January 2016) CW: 260 (March 2017) Instagram: vsg_queendiet -

I weight all my food. At month three i was able to do 2-3 oz. At month 6 i was able to do 4-6 oz. Months from now the bad food will still go in. Like whole family size bag of chips is about 5 oz. A slice of pizza 3 oz. Just remember to track your calories, weigh your food, protein first and no eating drinking at the same time. You got this. How is this even possible?
vsg_queendiet replied to QueenOfTheTamazons's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's completely normal. Plateau and weightloss stalls will happen alot along the way. It's your body's way of playing catch up. Take your measurements. Because scale might not be moving the inches are coming off. HW: 420 (January 2016) CW: 267 (March 2017) Instagram: vsg_queendiet -

Gas after drinking protein drink
vsg_queendiet replied to arringtonc49's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Probably the milk. They make chewable tablets called lactose. Take one of them before drink it. It should help. It's very common not to handle milk after surgery. HW: 420 (January 2016) CW: 267 (March 2017) Instagram: vsg_queendiet -
stomach cramps after drinking
vsg_queendiet replied to achopp's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This happen to me to. I had went straight to the doctor. They told me it was me moving and muscles are sore and still healing. Was told to wear a stomach binder they gave me in the hospital and it stop. If you feel unsure about your doctor opinion you can always get it check out with another doctor.
