I would stick to 4 oz per hour, even if you can do 1 cup every 20 min, you don't want to get use to that water intake and make your pouch bigger..

Things you wish you had

I would say: 1) family member 2) Headphones with your favorite tunes.. 3) GAS -X for gas relief (talk to your Dr first) 4) Comfortable shoes (no laces) so you don't have to rely on nurses while walking at night 5) Coconut water (Talk to your Dr first) for faster hydration 6) Baby wipes, since you cannot shower the first 2 days. I felt sticky... Thankfully I had all above, except #2 and #6. Good luck -
As GassyGuru (cool nick name lol) mentioned. Walk Walk Walk... Walking will help out gas to go away... In my case took me about 3 weeks to begin feel normal again... You can also talk to your doctor and ask if you can take GAS-X strips... they will help a lot.. Everyday will be less pain.. you will get there... try not to focus on pain, instead try meeting walking distance per day. Good luck.. Pain is temporary, but results permanent if you stick to plan.

Proper Sugar Free popsicles

I had Darla J mentioned on her post.. However, you can also do your own with natural fruit (low in sugar). An idea would be "hibiscus", buy dried hibiscus, broil water and let hibiscus seat for 10 min, drain and put them on freeze.. -
I am 6 1/2 months post op.. hair it is falling, even talking Biotin and protein.. Is not much, or noticeable since I have lots of hair, but shower does not lie... I have to do a bit of clean up every time ... I thin should stop by 8th month or year, once you have more nutrients intake.. I hope your hair loss is not dramatic.. best of luck

Hi there, I had knee, back, circulation, and diabetes problems prior surgery, after losing 160 lbs, all problems are gone... (and still 60 lbs from my weight goal). All I can say is do not hesitate to take this big step, go through the process and you will be back to where you want to be in your life... Start practicing eating slow and no water 30 before/after meals, that will help a lot. Depression goes away once you see your results, but also try exercising to make it a habit, as also helps to forget about problems. Best

Killian's Gastric Sleeve Journey

Hi pal, it is normal to feel that way... all you can do is follow the liquid diet before surgery to help out Doctors during process... You are gonna be fine, always follow Doctors plan pre-post surgery.... you will not regret it, and you will be dropping pounds sooner rather than later.... best of luck in your journey! You can do this [emoji869] -
Welcome... I hope you are recovering well...I guess most of us (this forum) have gone through same failures in life, and struggled to loss weight, I heard about the band since a friend of a friend had it done, when I went to my orientation Dr recommended SVG since has higher success, less risk and higher loss weight. So far he was absolutely right. How are you doing so far? You said your surgery was this past monday? Wish you fast and painless recovery, I am 6 1/2 months post surgery, feel free to ask any questions.

1234567890 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi everyone, I had my SVG done in 03/10/17. I am up to my 6th month.. I went from HW (01/05/17) 405lbs SW (3/10/17): 385 lbs CW (10/2/17): 245 lbs I noticed I am eating more.. i.e Breakfast: 6 oz Lunch: 8 oz Dinner: 6 oz Plus 5 oz yogurt per day (snack) I still believe is not drastically high portions.... However, I would like to hear back from those who already past 6 months and can share your experience. Thanks -

Dr said to stick to 4 oz as much as I can, and that I would be able to eat 6 oz by this time and up to 8 oz (1 cup) within 1 year... I guess will cut down my portions so I stick to the plan... -

It happens... most important thing is that you feel great with your weight loss. Also, people who sees you everyday it may take few months to realize you have lost weight.. -
