10 months post-op,. Down 175 lbs… 40 lbs more to lose
1234567890 posted a topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Hi all, quick update, I am close to my 10th month post-op. I was VSG’d 03/10/17, HW: 405, SW: 385, CW: 230. My goal weight is 190.. It is very hard to shed last 40 lbs, it seems to be attached to my body LOL.. I am very thankful to this process; it is definitely a great tool. However, it is 50/50 we need to engage the other 50% and battle every day with our old bad habits. I am satisfied with my weight loss, but really wanted to lose more weight by now, I hit stalls 3 times, and they last for weeks.. I don’t even look at the scale, now is my enemy (LOL) , instead I rely on clothing and noticed I am losing size… I increased my workouts the last 4 months, I do 4-5 times a week (1.5-2 hrs), I split weight training and HIIT. Now I am working really hard on core workouts.. I hope I can meet my goal by March 1st, PS: pardon quality of photos.. as header says (quick update) haring this few photos for now… Will post more in March and I hope I can see a difference. You always friend Carlos…. -
Hi all. Just wondering if Anyone had the 360 lower body lift? I do have some excess skin.. going from 405 down to 204.. I wanted to have an idea about surgery cost.. If anyone can share will be appreciated Thanks

Biggest regreat was not getting it done sooner. I had my surgery last year.. I was 40.. no big deal.. I had no issues at all.. down from 405 to 205.. I havent lost weight for last 4 months.. but doing tons of crossfit.. so I guess not loosing but gaining muscle.. best of luck pal -
Congratulation!! Great transformation.. don’t stop ..

Oh one last thing.. is not only about dieting.. you need to include workouts.. and the forever battle with your deamons.. remeber surgery helps out.. it is only 50%.. the other 50% its on us.. as everything.. make it a habit to workout and watch your calorie intake
-
How many pounds you gained? personally I gained 6 pounds this months.. although I am doing crossfit and tons of weight trainning.. Maybe 75% of it is muscle and the remaining 25% is fat due bad habits.. but is never to late to come back to track.. how are your food portions like now? one more thing to ad.. are you watching your macros? Calories in vs calories out? I would do a yo yo diet removing carbs.. people digest carbs faster than others.. just find your balance tho.. really hope you get back at it.. best of luck

Hi all.. checking in... left my highest 405lb right 06.20.18 at 204 lbs. I hope everyone’s journey is going well.. please keep me updated with your progress and wish you all the best -
Stalls are part of the process.. I hva had about 6 to 8 stalls... I am 15 months post op.. try changing your diet and add more protein.. sometimes eat a bit more calories.. stall tells your body to slow down in your weight loss.. its expexted and normal... most important part dont be discouraged.. best of luck
