Hi, i was on here a while ago and asked for some advice regarding the lap band and what happens and how you feel afterwards..... anyways after alot of thought i had booked it in and i am going in tomorrow morning!!! i guess i am excited and nervous at the same time!! I cant beleive i am going in! this time tomorrow morning i will be getting ready to operated on! wow, i guess my journey starts tomorrow 31st march 2006!!!:eek: :clap2: I hope everything will be fine!! Does anyone have any advice or anything to let me know about their experience when they went in? i always leave things till the last minute!! Well i guess i better get to work now. I am going to try and keep this a regular thing by coming on here although with my work and other stuff can be a bit hard!!:bored Bye and hope you all are well!!!

Hi everyone!!! well i have been banded!! wow talk about pain though,it is now 5 days after the operation and im still so sore!! i tried to come to work today but instead of working i have been resting, its good that they understand here!! i spoke to my doctor today because i am worried that i am still hurting and didnt think id still hurt this much!i i stayed in hospital for 2 nights and if i could stay more i would for the injections!! other than the pain i am doing well i guess!! im drinking and eating but not much food, it doesnt take long before i feel full!! did anyone else have pains for a while after the operation? im struggling to keep on the computer now!! i will go now so i can lay back down and i will be on here again real soon!! thanks to everyone who has wished me well, i really appreciated that, where is everyone from by the way? i am from melbourne australia and was banded by Dr. Nottle!!!

believe me i wont be sleeping through no alarm!!! i think im getting real nervous now, like a fear of not waking up but i know i will!!, will let you all know how i go !! thank you!!

Hi there i am a newbie to this site as i found this while i was looking up info about the surgery as im really wanting to do this operation for myself. im waiting to see a doctor about this next month.can anyone please tell me if they have had it done and if so is it all good and safe? i want to do this but a few friends think i shouldnt, but i want to do it to make my self happier!!:Bunny

Hi Jacqui thanks for getting back to me. so you go on a diet before you take the operation? do you have to take tablets and medication beforehand also? sorry for being a stickybeak,i guess i just want to know all there is as i do want to do this. is it only for people who eat alot of food? or in general for people with weight problems?
