Deactivatedfatgal replied to bigjoe102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I feel your pain! I went on a crusie in December and was totally uncomfortable due to my weight. And right under 5ft it was just to much to carry 235 pd around. Good luck to you. -

Help, I'm so lost!
Deactivatedfatgal replied to Candigal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was on liquid diet day before surgery and 14 days thereafter. I have been on puréed/soft foods for two weeks and Monday I can advance to normal foods if my stomach can handle it, my guess is I'll stay on softs an extra week -

4 weeks out and haven't lost in two weeks!
Deactivatedfatgal replied to Jnette1979's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I guess I hit the stall also! I was 235 before surgery and lost 19 pds in two weeks! I'm now down to 210.5 but I'm being patient and focusing on strength training and cardio. I personally want a slow and steady weight loss but I'm happy either way. This is part of the process. My teacher told me you may not see the scale move for a month sometimes but you are losing inches! -

Deactivatedfatgal replied to ebarclay's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Well I can tell you that after a week I felt like myself and at three weeks and a day out I have NO pain and just got home from the gym. Biggest adjustment is that you won't eat like you did before, but that's the point lol -

My husband told me he doesn't want me to lose my butt also but I could careless what he wants. I was 235 pds and couldn't go up a flight of stairs without losing my breath. I'm on this journey of self improvement and discovery & he has told me I look good, not sure what he will say as I continue to shrink but he is also losing weight so I don't see any issues -
Three weeks post op today !!!!!! What I've learned so far
Deactivatedfatgal posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So today marks three weeks post op for me! Whoohooo!!!! One thing that I can agree with from vet sleevers is that it does get easier. The incision pain is prettt nonexistent just a bit sore now. I haven't weighed myself for few days but my stats are Pre-op last weigh in 235 and right now I'm almost 210 pds. Ive started to incorporate weights and walking and will be back in the gym this week. I can drink more Water at once now and I don't have any complaints. The only issue I'm having is with constipation. I took a stool softener and it took until the next day to work so I purchased sopositories (enema) and will try that tonight. This is literally the best thing that has happened to me besides the birth of my child!- 4 replies
