  1. Yes Premier Protein is a brand. It was recommended by my Dr. It has 30 grams of protein, 160 calories and 1 or 2gm sugar. It fills you up but is only 11 1/2 oz., and you don't have to mix it!!! The chocolate and Carmel are my favorites, but strawberry and banana creme are pretty good. I haven't seen a cookies and creme flavor but I would try it it there was. I just bought vanilla for a variety. I have never tried it. I've made it through 6 days now with no cheating and haven't been hungry. The monotony is the hard part. As of last night I have lost about 8 lbs in 5 days! I'm good with that!! I'm on the down hill slope now!!

    Any June Sleevers!?!

    I'm on day 4 of liquid only and it really has not been hard. I'm so surprised! Happily Surprised!! I drink a Premier protein shake for breakfast, have a Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt as a snack, drink another shake for lunch, and to be bad I might add 1 cup of Sugar Free jello!! (10 cals)!! Snack is the Yogurt again and dinner is another shake. After that if I feel like I'm hungry which I haven't been, I still have jello and water around!! I kind of like doing it this way. If I got to eat I may want to eat more meals that way... I have alot of friends praying for me...I totally believe in the power of prayer!

    No stress.. so many doctors do it different ways. Some people even get to eat a meal a day. I'm on day 3 of liquid for 13 days...I wanted to start on a weekend!!

    Don't stress you got this! Mine is 6/23. I'm on day 3 of my liquid diet prepping. It actually has been ok!!
  6. We have to do a liquid diet for 2 weeks before. Roughly 800-900 calories. 3 Premier protein shakes, 1 for each meal. 160cal, 2 gm sugar, 5 gm carbs, 3 gm fat, 30 gm protein each shake. In between they say 3/4 cup greek yogurt, but I don't really care for it, so I will try, but may switch to regular yogurt. I bought sugar free jello in case I want to "chew" the jello!!, and G2 for a treat. May do a tropical smoothie as a treat the green one with the lowest carb count and splenda. What are you guys doing???

    My surgery is June 23rd. I start liquids this Saturday June 10th. So excited but scared to death of the liquid phase!!

    LOL!! I had never been to one either! She asked me binge eating and anorexia/bulemia. I asked her what she was trying to figure out and basically she said she tries to make sure I don't have an eating disorder or am just sprayed roach crazy and couldn't handle the surgery

    What to tell my boss

    I am a very open person and everyone can tell I need to lose weight (duh!) so I have been very up front about it and people are very supportive and wish the best for me. I need all the help I can with this so my boss knows I'm going through this. I'm saving up my time so I can take the time needed, plus FMLA covers you too!! Be open, people do care and those who don't just suck anyway so who cares?!!

    "Newbie" status

    Hi fillje1: I'm not in NH I'm in FL, but I am just ahead of you in the process. Put my fitness pal on your phone and start tracking your food. That is what my nutritionist wants to see when I go back. Also they gave me a list of foods to aim for, your typical high Protein, low carb stuff but limit calories too. I was put on 1200-1400 calories a day. I am trying my best to get off white flower and sugar carbs as much as possible. In fact I am giving them up for Lent which starts in 2 days! Hopefully that will help me with the will power problem!! Best wishes!!! I'm excited and trying to figure this all out too! If you hear of anything, let me know!! Doris

    "Newbie" status

    Hi All! I'm new to this... just had my first appointments with Dr, nutritionist, and therapist. I was given a list of foods to eat and calorie goal. If I was good at this I wouldn't be where I am now! I don't like to cook much anymore, just need grab & go ideas basically!
