Just got home from surgery April 12, tired cause couldn't rest in a room with 3 patients..... Now home relaxing time today and creating my new born life tomorrow

2 days sleevers. (April 12th ). Been in hospital 2 days and was able to keep all the fluids they gave me. After a 3h drive backhome got a boost and everything is still fine. Don't have the full feeling yet or gas but I'm sure its around the corner some where.

Don't quit you are almost there try to drink water when you get hungry you ca do this! I'm on my last 3 days before surgery...

Got my date .....april 12. 2nd day on boost....

I don't have a 6 month diet pre-op. Needed 6 months therapy is what they call it here, the anxiety is getting terrible. I'm used to control my life and decisions but now it feels like can't decide anything, so I'm eating that emotion of being out of control. Next week I'm seeing the anesthesist. 30 min apt but a 6hours drive.(this is my 3rd drive there ). Can't do it by camera. I feel so not able to control this surgery kind of makes me think I might not be mentally ready for it. I'm 51 almost 300lbs. 5'4". During the 5 year waiting period I lost weight one time 110 lbs. and 2nd time 125lbs gained more each time... I need this surgery to help me out with my eating disorders.

Before your pre-op, did you put yourself on food intake control or you ate everything and anything your heart desired? Seriously since my 1st visit back in october.... I've gained the 60lbs lost the previous months (may to oct). The more I wait for my surgery the more I get fustrated and my eating disorder kicks in big time. (Binge/bulemia). It took about 5 years to get the 1st consult and now this waiting period is getting the best of me..... Anyone from anywhere in this world can help me out?

Anyone from Edmundston? My sleeve surgery is not set up yet, but pre-op testing done. Surgery will be done in Bathust,NB Anyone else from around here?

My surgery is not set up but my decision on sleeve was made like this..... Get this out of my body so food doesn't fit anymore... I don't have a hard time losing the weight....biggest loss was 125lbs on a protein diet.... However I've gained more each time due to my stomach being stretched.... I'm not yet on my 2 weeks pre-op diet, but my menu for those 2weeks will be 4 shakes 4 times a day.. Not more than 60g of protein per day for 14 days.... I have to admit it sounds scary.. Especially The I don't like shakes part.... Water is allowed. To be continued..... I'm in NB Canada Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
