You look Great! -
Well they'd know best, after all they see it everyday. Hope you feel better soon. It seems everyone goes through a bit of crappyness, either from the surgery or depression , then after 2 weeks things look up. My friends told me it takes almost 3 months to feel normal, now they are just so used to it!

Ohh, that's too bad. Not a nice feeling at all. Can't you call your clinic and ask them?

Never thought I'd regret it...but here I am

@janedoe92 why don't you try to get into hiking or get a gym friend or walking friend. Its really hard when your friends aren't there anymore, but you can make better friends and like minded friends, to help you reach and maintain your goals. -
Canadians having surgery in Mexico
Please replied to Monie717's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
If you do your homework it's fine. A lot of them are even American trained doctors, (if your a good Doctor your good, it doesn't matter where you were born) Healthcare is a universal language. There's Mexican doctors I'd prefer over any in Canada, there's always "bad Doctors" if you find a clinic with hundreds of positive reviews , find these people chat in person or email(they are real) they've had great experiences. Just don't pick out one running deals and without doing your homework. The risk is still there in Canada or the USA.(not be naive) remember a lot of our North American Doctors study abroad . My Cousins husband studied a semester in Jamaica , it's normal. So does that make him an unsafe practitioner. Just food for thought. Also Thailand has some pretty awesome doctors too! -
I'm wondering about that too, it nice to get the fibre, but I'm sure you can juice and still be ahead in the nutrients. We make a juice 3-5 mornings a week, I think I will continue with that. It's a way to ensure you get your veggies.

Eating Disorders Post Op (Food Addiction/Binging)
Please replied to awillaweigh328's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Have you tried over-eaters anonymous ? Or counselling ? I think near everyone that seeks out WLS, has an eating disorder (including myself). We have to find something to do instead of eating when triggers are set off. I know it's easier said then done, I hope you get a handle on it though, remember why you did this in the 1st place. Maybe try keeping a journal . Good luck to you. -

My BMI is 31/32, and I'm having it done May.23rd. I can't loose this 50-60lbs on my own. I've lost 25 every year and gain it back +more. I don't have an comorbitities, but I also don't want any. I've struggled with being overweight since college, and I want my life back, more me and my Family!I'm 41 years old, married with our 2 kids. My husband is supportive , but not overly happy, he's a little scared I might get too small. -

Help! My Family Is Against My Weight Loss Surgery!
Please replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
I was scared to ask my husband to support this (being a stay at home Mom) I don't have a pay cheque, he wasn't thrilled, but I told him "I'm 60lbs over weight and I gain 5-7 pounds every year, I need to reset and I can't loose 60lbs on my own, I've tried to loose 30, and I'd gain 5, after all said and done. Surprisingly he said "okay, but I don't like the idea , but if you know what your doing and you did your research" he did have a lot of health questions. I'm booked for march 23rd! -

Anyone going to the OCC ?

I don't have an answer, but I'm very interested in your outcome. Did you call your Doctor? I've heard of "water nausea" did you try broth, or sugar free Gatorade ? I'm wondering if it's water?
