Congrats and welcome... My birthday is also 3/29, though I will be 32. Hopefully we'll both drop quite a few pounds by our B-Day! -
I needed a place to vent... so why not here. I am scheduled to have my lapband surgery on 11-9. Should be excited, right? Wrong... I feel upset with myself. When I initially started researching the band, I knew it was for me because I am a BIG uncontrolled portion eater. Carbs all day every day. So I began my jouney... Well I think deep down inside, I thought I could still do this on my own. I can work out a lot, can be very enthusiastic. But after trying again.. I failed. failed cuz I just can control my mind to keep my mouth shut. No, instead I convice myself why I should have 8 slices of pizza and cinnamon rolls and biscuits.... URGHHHHH! I guess I am coming to the realization, that I have a true problem. Something I just cant seem to get control of. I know the band is what I need. I know that I will probably do well with it. But I just feel really crappy for letting myself down over and over again.... Okay, I'll quit my bitchin now:cry

Sunday 30 min on treadmill 3mph and 10-15 incline 150 cruches Monday 3mi walk at the park 60 step class this evening

Sat- B- two cinnamon melts and two glasses of milk L- half a steak and cheese sandwich D- barbqueu chicken, mac and cheese, baked Beans and two long beach teas Sun- B- nothing L- Soup, cantelope, watermelon, pineapple D- cantelope, watermelon, pineapple Mon- B- sausage patty S- bag of reese pieces L- tender grill salad S- broke down and got me a cinnamon melt from McD's D- chili and side salad or baked potato

Hey there Ladies and Gents.... This is such an awesome and motivating thread... I think I will step right on in... Todays workouts.. 3.5 mile walk 45min step class- 15 min of ab work 100 crunches ab and ad ducters... 6 sets of 10 leg press- 3 sets of 10 dont remeber what its called, but u sit and pull the handles back almost like a rowing motion...anyway, did 3 sets of 10 of those. bicep curl- 3 sets of 10 chest press 3 sets of 10 Jumpstarting my new regimne...:rolleyes

I know... I think my current habits are absolutly TRIFLING... But I cant seem to shake it. Thats why I decided to start reposting my meals.. Hopefully I will get disgusted enough in what I am doing to myself and be able to snap out of it... I postsed almost every day when I did well... but was ashamed to post when I didnt... which has been like 2 months now... So its time to take my body back from the food demons and start living a healthier life!!! Though... easier said than done.:faint:
