Stocky, if u dont mind me asking... Do u go to a happy hour spot? I know I know, I shouldn't be drinking.. but sometimes, when I leave work... and then the Friday traffic... Usually if I dont go home and a little cocktail...Well lets just say I am not a very nice person

Okay, well I had a similiar day... B: Sugared Jelly doughnut L:taco bell pizza and two soft taco supremes, and a large sierra mist S: six oreo cookies D: one of them large hotdogs on a bun, and some orange juice with a shot of pinapple rum. That was bad! :heh: But the good note is that I have 40oz of water so far.

Okay, I'd like to post what I ate... but dang.... it was bad. real bad. When I check out this thread, you guys are doing so well... even on the days you think u not... well compared to what I ate... yikes! Keep up the good job.

T, I am meeting Madame up at the gym on Wed. I may make it up there thursday as well. I am kinda scarred of a weight training class since I havent really been working out lately. But I may just join yall Thurday too. I really need to work out. As for walking, just let me know. I am usually always free in the evening and on weekends (since I just moved here, dont really have many friends yet.) So just let me know when. K -
LSasha, what did ur PCP require u to do? My pcp seems a lil.... well lets just say that he's not quite getting it. I told him I needed a 6 month regimen and he said okayyy and told me to stick to 2000 calories a day... Well I dont that gonna cut it. But I would like to hear of your exp.

C, does Dr.Fernback take the insurance or do you have to pay out of pocket. I am trying to get with someone that is covered under mdipa so I can save a couple of dollars. I have another question too... The test that ur scheduling, I am assuming that we can do those before our visist with our surgeon right? Also what other test have you done/soon to do so I can keep on track. Not sure how far along you are in your process, but since we have the same ins. co. and we are seeing the same surgeon, so I am following your lead.... Oh and one more thing. You mentioned that a meeting was being held at a seafood place. What the name and date, etc. I dont eat seafood, but I really want to meet you gals... and I am sure there is someting on the menu for me. Thanks for the info ladies... Kee

I am not banded yet, but I would be interested too. Always looking for ways to work out. Also, if anyone is a member at ballys, I woudl be willing to work out with ya there too.

Thanks for the welcoming! I just got back from my PCP, that makes two visits. I have an appt with Dr. Moazzes on 2/1. I called his office today and asked if I have to wait until the all six months are complete, the lady that answered said that I have to have at least four to start sending in the paperwork. Keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully I will be approved by early march... We'll see what happens.

Hi to all! I have been researching and contemplating and researching and thinking... Well, I finally made my first step! I went to Dr. Moazzez's seminar last night and made my appointment with him on Feb. 1st. I have MDIPA too and so now its on to my PCP appts once a month. I am sooo excited because I am thinking this will finally be what I've needed to get myself together.. I have gained and lost and gained and lost.... and I am just tired. I want to be thin...er and healthy and able to go up my condo steps without falling out when I get to the third landing.... Yikes Anyways, I am glad to have this site as a resource. And I would like to get to know many of you as I will need lots of support!!! Keshia
