I was just sleeved last week and wanted to try to connect with people my age in Philly who have had WLS or are getting ready to have it! I think it would be really cool to have a local support group and maybe connect in person too!

@ThickGirl5683 and @shan0520 that's great! I'm still on full liquids! Moving to pureed diet on the 6th. I'm down 20 including preop diet!

I am following my Drs. 2 week full liquid post op diet for VSG. When I eat Soup (tomato is allowed) I only eat a half cup of it. I have yet to feel "restricted" or full and have no problem drinking my Water soon after having the soup. Basically I'm a little worried that I haven't felt the restriction that so many others talk about! Also if anyone can tell me if there is a way to search the bariatricpal forums that would be great! I'm sure this topic has already been covered! (Nevermind got it!) Thanks!

@veromichelle how far out are you? I am hoping that when I start eating solid foods it will change!
