Hey Cathy!
Sorry it took so long to write back..I'm down 80 pounds. I'm wearing a 12/14 now and have 28 left to go. As of late I've had reflux so bad and had the doc loosen me up a bit and it's better but it's still there. Taking nexium 2x a day and it helps a bit but nights are horrible! I have been on a plateau since Dec..went to get a fill and was so tight I lost 8 pounds in 11 days...so went in and asked if he could take half of what he put in..course that would have been 1/4 cc and he said he couldn't but would try. I go back in a couple of weeks but he's going to be disappointed since I'm just riding out the same weight!! HA! Oh well...I feel better and can't complain too much!! How are you..your weight loss is great!! I started changing my sizes about 3/4 months out..don't get disappointed if it doesn't show too soon..everyone is different!! It's coming off that's the main thing!! Catch you later!!

Hey there , how are you doing? Have you survived Christmas? It sure was different without all the food this year. Each day I am learning. I had my 2nd fill last friday. My total weight loss is 75 lbs. The problem is I still don't see it. How long before you could see a big change?

Wow...you are doing great!!! I'm down just 77 and 33 left to go!! It's getting a bit harder now since I can't or rather refuse to be tightened up anymore..too many issues going on here to get any tighter!! You are amazing!! Good to hear from you..keep it up!!!

I had surgery July 28th. I have lost 50lbs, I have not had my first fill yet. I am getting it filled Nov 17th. I have found myself slipping back into bad habits, I understand this is a daily struggle. I need to lose 150 more and it is hard. -
Yes,that includes the 2 week pre-surgery diet.I go back in 6 weeks now, but as long as the weight is coming off I won't have a fill until I need it. We used to eat out all the time and I have been cooking at home . This has really made a big difference for me.

Good luck with everything. I am from Virginia also and had my surgery July 28th. I went for my 4 week checkup and I have lost 43 lbs. I feel great.:thumbup:Don't get frustrated, it is a slow process, but well worth it!!!!

Ok..time to update me! How was the surgery? Are you doing ok with everything? I went back in last Thurs and had that 1/2 cc put back in ..had a hard time in the beginning but now I'm doing MUCH better! Couldn't hardly eat a thing but at least the scale is going down s l o w l y but down nonetheless!! I'm glad of that! So let me know how you're doing..I'm anxious to hear if you are doing well!! Now you can really begin your journey to the new you!! I'm checking out plastic surgeons now and I've already found out that AFTER I get my goal then maintain for 3 months then go in for a consulation~~time to save my penny's now!! HA! Write when you feel better!!

My surgery date is Monday the 28th. I have been on this liver shrinking diet for almost 2 weeks. Giving up the cafeine was the worst for me. I want to be successful in this new venture. Good luck. -

I think 53 pounds is GREAT!!!! My surgery is July 28th. I start my liver shrinking diet this Sunday. I need to lose at least 175lbs. My life is about to change.
