Had that problem asked my Dr she said that happens once your pouch is full whether it's food or liquid. Once the pouch is full everything just sits in the esophagus until there's room in the pouch to pass through. -

I had that same feeling after eating ice cream. Felt like I was having a heart attack, I asked my Dr and she said it was because the pouch was full and that was normal -

Had surgery 2/2/17 had the sleeve and hernia repair going bk to work Monday 2/28 been off 3 wks. It all depends on your dr and how u feel.
