I am not counting calories, my nut said to focus on protein and water and if there's room veggies and a tiny bit of fruit. Sometimes you can be consuming not enough calories that can slow things down too. Talk to your nut, there is no perfect formula I'm learning I was on vacation last week expecting to gain when I returned and lost ? Makes no sense.

I was sleeved on May 2nd, down 34 since surgery 54 since starting the process in April. I was stalling a bit but the wl is picking up again. Having the same trouble, I'm hungry but then can only have about 4 ounces of protein and I'm at capacity. I'm am starting to get a lot of comments on my wl at work which is nice but hard at the same time. Sometimes people don't realize how they sound. One woman like yelled across the parking lot that I was shrinking but it didn't feel like a compliment. I have alot to lose and get scared it will just stop. I know you just have to do you and tune out the noise.

Almost three months post opt and on a family vacation
kad_82 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am failing miserably this week. On a beach vacation with family and not doing well with my diet. I'm so afraid I've gained and no scale to check. I'm so good when I'm on my own don't snack between meals but I'm so disappointed in myself this week. -
I am definitely feeling this way as well. I am a little over two months and last week and this week have been struggling with having that extra bite too much and feeling sick. I feel like when my head is saying just finish that bite that's when I need to stop [emoji113] but still learning and not doing as well as I would like. This is the learning phase someone once said and I am trying to not be so hard on myself. Thanks for sharing, I am in the same boat right now.

Thank you! The approval part is tough, you feel like your jumping through hoops. I was lucky with only three months. One you get that surgery day it starts to fly by and it's worth it. Helps to think back were you are and then get two months out.

Thank you! I really need to hear this tonight, need to get in front of my water intake earlier in the day and get my cardio in, mini goals
-
Trying to stay positive but I am a little over 2 months since I was sleeved down 30 since May 2nd, 45 total. I feel like I'm getting off track after seeing a tiny bit of success. I am afraid on not losing and failing. Sorry sounding like a downer.

It will get better I promise! I am at week 7 and felt the same like I was hungry and just wanted to eat. Then week 5 came along and it got much better. Week 3 I started ground protein and I think that helps too! I hope it gets better for you soon! -

Part of me is wondering if I've been pushing it and that's why.
-
Thank you good to hear I'm not going crazy or the only one feeling like this. I'm gonna try to up the water and keep plugging along
-
Anyone hit like a wall of no energy at week 5? I've had a smooth recovery back to work in three weeks and all of a sudden I feel so off.
