Hi! I'm Karen. I'm 41 and was sleeved July 10. I'm married to an amazing, supportive husband and we have two girls in elementary school. I'm in Alabama!

Stretching Sleeve [emoji51]

I didn't say it was complicated. I just wondered what other people were doing, if anything, to prevent it. I didn't go through all of this just to stretch it out and gain weight again. -

Hi everyone! I am terrified of stretching my sleeve. I am only 4 weeks post op but I wanted to know what you do to prevent stretching! Thanks!

Yes. So the pain would be constant not intermittent (coming and going)?
-
Really? I thought they were more common. I had a leak test during surgery and then one that night with the radiologist and both were fine.
-
Yes I called them today. They said to put heat on it and walk more. It isn't all the time. Just here and there. I'm wondering if leak pain would be all the time??
-
And it WAS in your left shoulder?
-
Thanks for your response! No pain when I eat or drink. Was your gas pain a week after surgery in your left shoulder?
-
Hi everyone I was just sleeved on July 10. My swallow test for leaks was fine. I have had gas symptoms but not shoulder pain. I am one week post op and feel minor, mild pain in my left shoulder intermittently. Definitely whenever I hiccup or burp or yawn or do my spirometer. I don't have fever, rapid heart rate, rapid breathing, or hiccups that don't go away. If it is gas pain, why would it show up a week after surgery?

I don't know that this is correct. At the seminar I went to, he said GERD would be much improved. I will ask when I go to my appt n -

Looking for PCOS success stories!

I have read that the weight comes off slower if you have PCOS. I have also been told by the nurse at my dr office that people have the surgery just to cure the PCOS! -
