I had the hernia repair too and I'm still a little tender... I'm only 10 days post op and was just cleared to eat puree foods. What types of things are you eating?

I totally understand, I'm right there with you BUT my advice would be to just hold off until it's time. It will fly by quickly

I am 9 days post op and I'm still on clear liquids. I go to the Dr tomorrow and hopefully he'll move me to the puree stage. Didn't your surgeon give you a good time line?

It helped me a little bit. I'm 9 days post op and I've only used 1.. Walking helped me the most

Omg... Why is my stomach itching by my incisions??????????

I was sleeved on the 20th and had a haital hernia repaired also, whenever I felt the gas coming I walked, walked and walked. I have only had to take 1 gas X strip so far. Whenever u got that pain in my shoulders I would just try and rub it and move my arms.

Either my sleeve is broken or I'm freaking out. I've been able to drink a whole 11oz protein shake, bowl of broth and now a jello today so far... Not all together but between 8 this morning and now... I'm freaking out because I feel like I've been able to eat soooo much today.. AND it didn't bother me to eat/drink at a normal pace.... OMG IT'S BROKEN [emoji15] [emoji15] [emoji15] [emoji15] [emoji15] [emoji15] [emoji27] [emoji27] [emoji27] [emoji27] [emoji27] [emoji33] [emoji33] [emoji33]

I honestly think why it kind of freaked out because u was an emotional eater before the surgery and I've had a very emotional 2 days dealing with my husband.. Today was the first day I sat home alone since the surgery so in my mind I felt like I was emotionally "drinking" if that makes any sense..

I'm serious as a heart attack.... The first couple of days a few sips and I could feel everything. Now I don't really feel anything going down and it just seemed like I've consumed alot. I think in my mind I just figured it would always be a few sips and I'm full...

Well I know it's not "physically" broken but it just seemed like that's a lot being 7 days post op... I have an appointment on the 30th, I'll definitely ask about it
