Start weight: 350 Surgery date 12/20: 338 Current weight: 253 I haven't seen this girl in so long it amazes me still that with this tool I have been successful with it unlike every other weight loss diet and trend I had used since the age of 15. This picture on the left was me two days ago and the picture on the right was about two years ago. I use to play roller derby and with my size back then I had a hard time just skating in a circle. I feel amazing now and can't wait to try skating again. I couldn't imagine being where I am now if I didn't have gastric bypass. This tool works and I'm so happy I did this to better my life. Yes I do have these cheat days and I tend to slip a little bit I find myself acknowledging it and getting back on track. This definitely is a life changer and it's a slow process to change but I am doing it and I know better now then I did when I was 350 pounds.

Gastric Bypass Surgery Progress Pictures

picture in the left was me 2 days ago and picture on the right was about 2 years ago. I am close to 100 lbs down from when I first started this wls journey. I haven't worn my skates in almost two years and I can't believe how much I missed it and how different I look now from then. I'm still losing but I am down to my high school weight which for me was not seeable if I didn't have this surgery. I am only 3 months out and I can see myself getting to my goal weight before my year post op date. This is an amazing journey and I can't wait to keep moving towards my goal. -
I love cats and just recently became single. Good thing I have a male cat to keep me company

Dealing with others issues
katgb replied to katgb's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Thanks for all your guys advice but sadly it ended. My ex couldn't be supportive of me not just for my weight loss but because I'm a full time student and I work along with taking care of my son. My life is to busy for him and his wanting attention from me when I was able to give him that wasn't enough. I'm a strong woman who has be by myself for a long time and I will be my own support. You all have given great advice and hopefully it will come in handy for the next relationship (if that ever happens) -
I'm stuck trying to figure out where I stand in my relationship. My boyfriend has said I've changed since surgery but he is not happy with himself because he is not losing weight. He is stuck where he is at but he doesn't want to change anything for that to happen. I'm just lost on what to do.

I went out with a girlfriend tonight and actually wanted to look pretty. The amazing part is I wore heels all night long and didn't have to take them off ten minutes later. Being 2 months out and seeing this change is amazing. My confidence is way up lately and I am so happy about my outcome. I wouldn't change my decision for anything in the world. Best tool ever.

I had mine on 12/20 also. I find it hard when my family still cooks like we did before. They don't take in consideration of myself and the only time that they eat no carbs or low fat is when I cook dinner. It sucks.

So I hit my 2 month mark and I've been having issues with trying to not go back to my old habits, especially at work. I am super busy with school, work and being a mother so trying to get my eating schedule down and making healthy foods and snacks are hard right now. I'm looking for someone who had surgery around December to keep me motivated since I have no time to go to meetings around me. I'm not just looking for someone to keep me accountable but also I can keep someone else motivated and accountable.

my name is Katie and I am almost 2 months post op. I try to take selfies after surgery and there are days that I just don't feel like I'm making progress. I had ryn December 20th and for me this has been the best decision even though I have had some issues with food I still wouldn't change my it. Sw: 350, Hw: 336, Cw: 278
