I just finally got everything sent to insurance today! How long was your wait for approval? How long after that was your surgery date scheduled?? I have Medicaid and I'm trying to find out a rough estimate of my timeline

I called the insurance today and they said they can't give me information and that they send everything to the surgeon and that I have to go through the surgeon's office. So annoyed -

I just finished everything for insurance this week. The wait for approval/denial is killing me - I can't sleep or think. What did you guys do during your wait to make it tolerable? How long was your wait?

I broke down and called today. The surgeons office still hasn't gotten my psych eval that I did Monday... so they haven't submitted to insurance yet. Omg I've already been waiting 10 months since I started this process... I just want to know already [emoji27]
