Liquid Diet Pre-Op

My pre op was 2 Protein shakes a day and a lean dinner. 2 weeks prior to that I started doing 1 protein and 2 lean so when the 2 weeks started it was not too bad. But like 2-liter said make sure u have everything because u don't want to have to go to the grocery store hungry that's for sure. Good luck with your surgery and process! I know my surgeon when they had me weigh in 2 weeks before surgery I was 3 pounds over and he said it was fine because of the pre-op diet but it all depends on the surgeon. Good luck with your 2 pounds hopefully everything works out for you Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have a high pain tolerance but for me I didn't have any pain at all. It was a little uncomfortable getting up out of bed. I found the gas pains to be the worst but I encourage you to walk walk walk. Good luck with surgery!

I had the gastric sleeve done 2/6/17. Im 1 week post op and I haven't had any complications. I had thought about backing out of the surgery because of reading the complications from others but one thing my surgeon said which helped me was you have to think did they follow instructions to a T and correctly, or did they cheat? Also what kind of health were they in before this surgery? I believe you will be fine. Good luck!
