    August Sleevers-How are you doing??

Thanks. I feel like a whole new person. Also has anyone else had degradation of their eyesight? I now have to wear glasses for reading an computer use. Which is pretty much all the time with my job.

    August Sleevers-How are you doing??

HW 280 SW 270 CW 203 I've been in a 5 month stall gaining and losing the same 3 lbs. I joke and tell everyone I've lost 50 pounds since January...but it's been the same 3 lbs over and over and over. Surgery was 14 Aug 2017. I've started back on my walking weekday morning. I'm up to over 3 miles. Try to get it done before the sun comes up and makes it 500 degrees in South Texas.

    Frustrated in Texas

Thanks everyone ,I think I will continue on with my goal of 170 that the Dr gave me. He said once I get there I will add back some weight and that will put me right where I want to be. I spent 24 years in the Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Reserve. Dreading the weigh ins,. Now I would have no issue with the weigh in as I am below the screening weight!! I need to update my profile picture as that was a while ago.. What's funny is I tell everyone I've lost 200 lbs, only that 130 of it is the same two pounds over and over...cursed stalls.
  4. So I had surgery on Aug 14th 2017. I started this journey at 279 and had surgery at 269. I currently weigh 208 with a ultimate goal of 190. My problem is my wife and everyone I meet tells me that I shouldn't lose anymore weight as I would look too skinny.. I see all of my body's flaws. I'm not sure how I should proceed...do I keep going knowing that I will probably never be satisfied with my weight loss or just start trying to enter maintenance mode 40 pounds before I originally planned?

I would like to join this as well. My numbers will be a bit low this week as I'm heading to MX for my wife's VSG surgery. Mine was 4 weeks ago in Galveston. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using BariatricPal mobile app

For me the caramel premier protein is too sweet so I only use it for my coffee. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Any August 2017 Sleevers?

Well Monday will he two weeks since surgery. I am currently on full liquids and doing well with it. I still get small bouts of discomfort that are not painful and only lasts a few seconds. I am down 19lbs from surgery and 29 lbs over all. 30% of my goal!! Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Any August 2017 Sleevers?

Well my surgery went well, the recovery has been tough. Since I'm prob to nausea they have been giving me anti-nausea meds. Two bouts of vomiting which nothing came up. They considered keeping me one more night, but decided to let me go home. The gas pain was real but walking helped a great bit. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using BariatricPal mobile app
