    Hair Loss

I noticed hair loss 4 months and am 10 months out now and don't struggle with it anymore. I know everyone is different, but that's my experience. I've heard that biotin, protein, and being on top of your supplements help but I think that it affects some people more than others regardless.
  2. I'm 10 months out. Nearly lost 120lbs. Way exceeded my surgeons goal. I work out religiously. Always trying to find the right balance with eating. I have the most supportive friends and family, I'm so blessed-but how do you deal with the pressure to continue to succeed? To not gain? How do you ignore the eyes that are watching to see if you actually can keep this weight off? Just feeling a bit emotional and stressed today and would love to hear from some veterans... ?

    Stalls

I stall for 6 weeks between my 9th and 10th month. I fluctuated losing and gaining the same 3 pounds. Then I lost 9 pounds within the first 2 weeks of breaking that stall.

    Sugar free candy

I have had luck with some sugar free candies. You have to look at the sugar alcohol content and gauge it. I started with sugar free life savers and did ok. Some Russel Stover's sf chocolates are fine, others make me feel yucky. I'd avoid sugar free licorice, gummy bears, and Reese's. I'm 10 months out and don't have these items at all anymore. 1) because I don't want to really on artificial sweeteners for sweets so I fruit instead, and 2) because they seem to make me constipated and that's a tricky balance at my phase. Good luck, dear!

    Surgery 12/19/16

I love Body Pump Class at 24 Hour Fitness. It's low-mid weight-high rep weight lifting. If you can't join a class like that I'd say to focus on mid weight (7.5-15 lbs on each side) high repetition strength training. I think in each muscle group we do anywhere from 50-150 reps during a class. It's helped me tone quite a bit but I know everyone is different! You're doing great and best wishes to you as you continue your journey ❤

    Enjoying Life?

You're doing exactly what you should be doing for the stage you're in... you're building great habits so you can keep them as life trickles back in and you have to constantly find balance. Give it a few more weeks and your energy and confidence will take you to new places and new people and you'll be able to enjoy it! Eventually those robot routines will become natural, but I'm 10 ml this out and still making weekly adjustments to my routine... Anyway, it gets easy and better-I promise! ?

When can you eat lettuce or a salad?

My program had me wait until 6 months because the lettuce and salads can be hard to digest. I'm 10 months out now and I eat 2 salads a day!

    Need some help!!!

This sounds more life food poisoning to me... when I have "dumped" it's been within 10 minutes of eating something and it never involves vomiting. I hope you feel better soon! ?
  9. Yep, all normal. The first few weeks will be uncomfortable but it's worth it!

    Hair loss

I didn't notice hair loss until about 3 months in... I have really thick hair but shed a lot and lost a lot in the shower. In slowed down a lot around 8 months and now I'm 10 months out and don't notice any hair loss. Like I said, I have thick hair, so only *I* noticed it. I ended up just washing my hair less for a few months until the loss slowed down. Everyone is different... I know some people take Biotin to help during that time... the good news is-it's not permanent and hair grows back
