I'd ask my Dr. He may put you on a clot preventative medicine if he knows of your travel plans

I know you have to stop frequently and take a walk to prevent bloodclots. They're no joke, I've had them, and it can be life threatening. I recommend flying for a trip that far if at all possible. Even on the plane you'll need to get up and walk if it's a long flight. It's not about how quickly you heal or your threshold for pain.
