Eating for the first time post-op

I found this interesting, I didn't think on any of the Bariatric surgeries you could eat food till after 4 weeks. I went to several classes the last 2 yrs before deciding the surgery but they were very serious about timing and healing . I'm 12 days post op with 22lbs down and had a little complications and still trying to get 64 oz of liquid in a day. Each day is better but if your tummy or esophagus isn't ready for that kind of nutrition I'd hold back and take it step by step. Hope your feeling better. -

Just got out of my Pre/Op and I'm in the clear, however my fear is not waking up also since I've never had a surgery in my life. The only peace I have is knowing that God loves me and he will see me through. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
