I'm not telling anyone either. Only my husband and one friend know. My folks would likely be against it and worry themselves crazy. Others probably wouldn't understand. So I'm with you on that.

    Any March Sleevers?

Not in Luton but getting mine down privately in East london / Essex area. I'm having mine exactly 1 week before too. Have you had a pre op diet from your surgeon. Got mine on Friday. It's pretty tame. Had the option to do liquids or low carb food. And only for 10-14 days before the operation. Decided I'm going to try and learn a bit more about nutrition over this period, so that when I do eat again I'm only taking in food that's beneficial to my body. Really want to use this operation as a reset in my way of thinking about food. Sorry for ramble
  5. Surely the post op diet would mean you don't take on enough calories to help with bone healing. The last thing you want is a non union of your broken bone. I guess it depends on how bad the fracture is.

Patricka76. THat would be helpful. looking at the other ones posted, looks like a no /low carb diet is what's generally recommended. I get mine next week but was just wondering what to expect. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. So I'm booked in for my gastric sleeve on the 14th March. Nervous excitement. Meeting dietician next week for get the pre op diet. She reckons for me it'll be 2 weeks. I've already started cutting out things on a weekly basis. So hopefully by the time I get to the beginning of March the pre op diet won't be such a shock. Anyone else booked for March? Would be great to have a sleeve buddy. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
