3 1/2 weeks post op gained 12 pounds

I would try adding protein shakes at least two a day. Your body is probably in starvation mode. Sent from my LGLS775 using BariatricPal mobile app

  5. I am 7 weeks post op, I have lost 52 pounds from my highest, and 42 since the start of preop. I feel like I have no problem eating at all. I will eat, and then a hour later I get hungry again. It is not head hunger, it's actually stomach growling hunger, lol... I usually eat an egg for morning with some light cheese, for lunch I will eat tuna, or some salad with grilled chicken. I always eat my protein first. For dinner I will eat a meat, and veggies. Tonight I had lean ground round patty I was able to eat over half of it, and 1/4 cup of vegetables. Isn't that too much? I hear everyone else saying they can eat 1 or 2 bites, and then they are full. I am worried I did something wrong. Sent from my LGLS775 using BariatricPal mobile app

    I don't think I'm gonna make it.

The preop was a breeze for me. I was so ready to do this I didnt even want food. Im post op 8 days, and I have no energy I can't stand the tecture of most everything, and I hate sugar free drink mixes. They taste too sweet. I'm really struggling too so I understand. This will be worth it in the end, but the next few weeks are gonna be rough. I will be praying for you. You've got this. Sent from my LGLS775 using BariatricPal mobile app
