Yes. Oh how happy I'll be when I don't need an extender on the air plane and can fit in a restaurant booth without the struggle ??

    4 pounds

Yes, if you absolutely stick to a liquid diet you will lose those 4lbs and more by your date. I tried a liquid diet in the past as an option for weight lost & I did lose I believe about 9-11lbs in 1 week....pure liquid with a calorie restriction (can't remember the amount) but I don't doubt that you will. Best of wishes??????
  5. Congratulations to you! So excited for you! You are in my prayers for a speedy, safe, & successful surgery/journey. Best wishes! ????????

    My journey journal

❤️❤️❤️ It!! You literally just encouraged me to get a journal. I'm going to get 2; 1-to post how I was before surgery, where my mindset was towards food/exercise, & to put before pics in there so that I can go back & see my progress 2- to chart my new journey!! & I love the message on the journal, going to try to find one exactly like it. Thank you & best wishes

Yeah, I think that would be my same reaction as well. someone in the support group ref it an old boyfriend you shouldn't go back too ? I thought that was an interesting concept. But it takes time to adjust to new things.
  8. Hi not sure how much of a help I'll be but I would double check with the hospital you're planning on going through & your insurance. I already attended my seminar back in October but was disappointed that I did my first required support group with a different hospital and when I called in to the hospital where my surgeon is affiliated with I was told it didn't count so now I have to go on the 15th to the right location. I'm not going to say it was for nothing; even though that's how I felt at first but I received some really great info there. But they didn't make the info on the paper clear it just said "attend a support group near year & contact them with the date & location" that told me that I could attend any but that's not what they meant. So just double check to make sure your seminar counts so you don't have to repeat it again.

Good for you with the cut backs so far. & wow that's crazy. & my friend successfully did the gastric bypass about 7months ago & she just had her check up on Thursday & her dr told her that she wasn't getting enough carbs or eating enough. She was scared. She said once she felt her appetite coming back she was scared which I understand & the support group that I went too said that it's normal BUT that it's important ur eating what's required or you can hurt yourself that way too.

Yes my hardest is the chewing slow ESPECIALLY when I'm hungry... I completely forget then feel guilty afterwards. & im trying to cut down on my sweets & high carb intake...it's definitely a process but a really good long term lifestyle change

I wish 3 months was the case here? I'm in Wisconsin. But at the same time I'm still preparing mentally for what's to come & trying to break some bad habits so it's not as hard for me once I have the surgery.

    Chef getting sleeved

Yeah. I think a lot of people think we want their consent or to run it by them first smh. & yes it will piss you off. I seen a post on fb about a gir saying basically it really doesn't count if you get surgery etc & that it's the easy way out....she has no idea I'm prepping for the surgery but it made me upset that people think this is the easy way out & its 100% not. However you get to your goal is your business/your choice & I congratulate anyone that lost weight anyway they could; by accident/ on purpose or through surgery. So I can't wait to do my surgery because I am going to shed light on those with her mindset & opinions. & thank you.

Wow breast reduction...was it painful? My sister wants it done. & Yes the hip surgeries were the worst for sure. & yes we both are gonna do great, thanks. Hang in there

Thanks. & yeah my friend had the gastric bypass done 7mos ago and that was her exact concern; leaving her 2 daughters behind. But she looks and feels amazing is what she tells me daily. You will definitely be in my prayers; I don't know that feeling because I don't have any children but I'm no stranger to harder surgeries (I've had 4 hip surgeries/tonsillectomy...) just to name a few and I've always done great. Congrats on losing the 95lbs that's amazing...I'm going to set myself on a short term goal to lose 20lbs by August. Although I know I will lose more I just want to drop 20 & not go below the Bmi. Yes, please stay off those horrible stories I'm telling you it only puts fear in you and you didn't come this far to back out now. Think about what this means for you and your girls in the future.

Congratulations, so excited for you! & yeah maybe it's not a bad idea to tell them since you're so close to your date. They might be very supportive and stop trying to force food on you lbvs. I know evening though I'm still in the waiting process I haven't told many people at all; in fact only my sister/best friend/high school friend who just did the surgery 7mo ago/& my mom knows. Everyone else I am going to tell the day before or day of surgery. I don't have a great support system & I don't want to hear any negativity during my waiting process. But best wishes to you on your surgery date ????
