Sleeved on 3/21 discharged 3/23

That is totally normal. I went up 7 lbs and after a week the swelling was much better. Plus I was under the weight I was at the day of surgery. Start weighting about 1 week post operative. It will be worth it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Keep moving and rest frequently. I was sleeved on 3-16 and have had no pain meds in 2 days. Good Luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Well, I had my sleeve on 3-16-2016 and kinda had a difficult time. I ended up having a hiatal hernia repair as well. This has made it really hard for my to drink, everything is getting stuck in the middle of my chest. I know really I have been trying to increase my fluid intake but getting to 60 fl oz seems impossible at this point. I have not had any pain medication at this point today and feeling pretty good, no nausea. So I'm hoping this is the turning point for me! Good Luck anyone having their sleeve in the near future. It sounds like you are a strong fighter. Keep it up! Here is my quote and I say and think this often: These are my achievements, my needs, and desires for myself. I will full fill my heart, body, mind and soul with nothing but a positive attitude to face every challenge and turn it into a way to obtain my goal. Good Luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I finally got my surgery approved by Insurance. This has been a long process from having H Pylori on my EGD with two rounds of treatment to getting my family to support my decision. But I'm almost there with getting the time off from work to have my surgery on 3/16/2017. Reading all the post on here and seeing all the pictures make me want to hit my goal hard and stay in check. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Relationships/marriages post OP

I think your husband is having a normal reaction to the unknown. All of us, going through having the sleeve have worries on the weight, will be in pain, what we are going to have to change in our lives. But I'm sure our loved ones have worries that we never think of. Just be reassuring to him. It will all work out! Prayers!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I started the process in September. Mainly it's been the H Pylori that kept postponing the surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had to have a sleep study, an EGD, see psych for clearance. Of course seeing a nutrition specialist 3 times. My EGD showed that I had a H Pylori and have been treated with two different course of medicine. Which are no fun. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
