I went to Dr. Sanchez and the entire procedure was $7,999. He is a wonderful surgeon and the Santa Engracia hospital is American owned and super nice, clean, state of the art modern. It rivals any care I could have gotten in the states. Be very sure you have aftercare arranged before you go the Mexico route. I live in the very south tip of Texas so it has been very easy for me to meet Dr Sanchez when he is in Matamoros, and he also referred me to a doctor 45 min away for fills. He gave me his personal cell number, I called several times and he is very glad to answer any questions and very compassionate. I will gladly talk to you if have any questions. Message me if you want my phone number!

Glad they got you fixed up! Did you have local or general anesthesia?

Looking good! Happy Bandiversary!

I didnt take my first measurements until post-op after I had already lost 4 lbs. I wish I had taken them at 229!!! I would normally NEVER tell anyone I had (HAD) a 51 inch butt....I am just so thrilled with the inches lost that I dont care, lol. I want to encourage everyone to track their measurements as well as their weight loss. Even when the scale barely moves I continue to see a difference in my measurements. I track them on a monthly basis on fittogether.net, this is a comparison of November to April.

I think a 10 year old is probably responsible enough to leave home alone for 30 minutes or less. They are able to understand rules like 'dont answer the door, dont go outside, dont try to cook anything, 911, etc...'. However, if the 10 year old is the OLDEST of several children it is a little different. IMO, That is not quite old enough to leave in charge of younger children.

It had a typo....It isnt a link, but the site is fittogether.net. Its super cool to see the difference even a little loss makes in measurements. Great for motivation too!

We wanna see!!! Post some before and after pics! Congratulations!!

Congratulations!!! Welcome to Onederland!!!

I dont really have any issues with artificial sweetners, I just rarely use them. I dont drink diet sodas and like unsweet iced tea with lemon. The only thing I like sweetner in is a cup of hot green tea.......or any hot tea. I use regular sugar. I figure at 16 calories per teaspoon, might as well use 2 tsp of the real stuff and just tally the 30 calories into my day.

I am surprised! Mandesa was not one of my bottom 3, more less who I thought would go.
-
OMG!!!! JoLynn, you are amazing! Good job! I am inspired to get off my A$$ and start working out! Btw, your before and after pics are great, you are and were such a pretty thing!!!
-
Wonderful news! I can just imagine the relief you are feeling!
-
I am still rooting for Chris!!! Not a good song for him, but the man has an incredible voice. I actually thought Bucky sounded pretty good last night, but I love that song. Poor Mandesa, having to sing country..... and wear that outfit! Definitely not a good night for her. I think it is just plain wrong to make them do the country theme anyway. And what is up with Kenny Rogers face??? He looks good,,,,just not like I remember him looking. Too much botox or too tight of a facelift?
-
No change for me. I am a little glad I am not up since I had a bad day or two with the food choices. Got back on track but then got my TOM today.....grrrr Great job for everyone else so far! Hope everyone has a great week!
-
Welcome to the losing side!!!
-
I glad that you are doing so much better! Take it easy and stick with your mushies and let your body rejoice in getting some adequate nutrients!!!! I feel such a sense of relief for you! Wheew!!

I dont know what I am thinking. This is yesterday. Breakfast...Jack in the box #17, didnt eat the buns but had the 2 big sausage patties, fried egg, and half the hash brown. Okay 3/4 of it. lunch...veggie Soup, feeling guilty....but ate 2 hushpuppies of my friends plate. and 4 crackers. snack 1...(1:00)German chocolate cake in lounge for March birthdays, ate one piece. I actually had TWO pieces on my plate but divine providence/fate had me drop the other one. I had no idea I could even eat cake. Havent tried it in the entire 5 months. snack 2.... (1:30)small handful of jelly belly jellybeans a student gave me...maybe 15-20 snack 3....(2:00)130 calorie pack of animal crackers supper....3 shrimp, couple of bites of fish, 3 bites greenbeans, was full snack 4....2 sugarfree mini reeses Peanut Butter cups, 1 sugarfree mint patty I never eat like this. I am totally at my sweet spot and can normally only get a Protein drink down for breakfast. WTF with the JackInTheBox? I RARELY snack, and I dont have much of a sweet tooth...what is up with the sweets?!?!? I never eat sweets or bread because of my blood sugar. (Bread is impossible for me anyway.)I swear I woke up hungry and passed Jack in the Box and thought "what the hell, I am HUNGRY". I really think the cake put me on a downward spiral...but it might have been the crapcarbs starting from the hashbrowns. The cake, crackers, (or something) reacted with my Metformin and sent me straight to the bathroom with what must be close to the RNY dumping syndrome, a first for me but in a way a good thing, lol! Is this psychological since I since reached my first goal (under 200)? Was this just physical, the crapfood causing cravings? Was it both? Has anyone else just lost it this bad before? It doesnt really matter, I need some tough love here to get back on track. The day before wasnt much better.....
-
Thanks so much for the gentle smacking. Yall arent very harsh with the tough love though, lol. I could in no way handle a fill right now. I am truly at my sweet spot....was almost too tight for about 2 weeks before it settled. I guess I did a "self A$$ kicking" and am over it. I think I freaked because that is the first day I have felt out of control. Lesson learned. I just had a Protein drink and am resolved to be a good little bandster again. I love you guys, thanks for the support and for giving me a place to vent.

Saturday I feel like I am sabotaging my self these past few days. I woke up starving yesterday. Fridays are such a relaxed day at school, we can wear jeans with our staff shirt. I felt really cute in my new (this particular pair size 16W) denim capris, staff polo, and Keds! I must be feeling TOO carefree. I passed Jack in the Box and thought "what the hell". Got the double sausage thing.....#17. breakfast....2 pieces sausage, egg (did trash buns) and half hashbrown lunch...soup, was feeling guilty snack 1....soup didnt fill me up, OF COURSE, and there was German chocolate cake in lounge for March birthdays.....ate a piece, I had no idea cake was easy to eat. snack 2.....handul of jellybellies one of my students gave me, okay....maybe 15 little jelly bellies Snack 3.....small pack of animal crackers, 130 calorie pack supper.....3 shrimp, 2 bites of fish, 2 bites of beans snack 4......2 sugarfree mini reeses, 1 small sugarfree mint patty I am insane. It is not even PMS. I think I feel relieved that I made first goal and just felt like "F it, I am taking a day off". I will focus on staying on track today.

Leenerbups, How are you doing today? Are you able to get more down? Is the pain still as severe? I keep praying for you that it will get better and better each day. Has your doctor given any new advice or anything?

I am happy with the free version, I suppose I am used to it and already have my usuals saved as custom foods. Like TriciaK suggested, I saved my multi as a custom food and then just add that daily. I dont use fitday that much anymore, my eating is fairly routine. It does help on days I feel I have gone overboard to realize that I have done little damage. I ALWAYS track my weight there though, lol! I like the graph and the fact that it gives you a weight loss average over the past month/months.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Oh my goodness, it is the best feeling in the world! I am doing the happy dance for you! I just noticed that we both seem to have averaged about 6 lbs per month...I personally dont mind slower as long as it comes off! In fact I am PROUD of that 1.5 lb per week average....to me it is perfect! Just think where you will be at the one year mark!!!
