Looking for buddy 38yr VGB to RNY Soon

Update: Had the surgery and did great! Already back to work and getting fluids all in [emoji8] -
In 1999-2000 I had a Vertical Gastric Banding (mesh) by a Doc Mason Jett in OKC. Over the past 17yrs I've countlessly struggled with vomiting, avoided meat, bread and Pasta due to everything getting "stuck" or anything spicy due to terrible reflux. Also, I've had some serious issues with not being able to have bowel movements. So I've constantly been on fleet pills, suppositories and other devices to be able to go. Needless to say I'm terrified at what they are going to find when they do a scope. My abdomen is always very distended especially up top above my belly button. BMI is 33.3. I have my 1st consultation on Thursday 2/9/17 and I will have to be a self pay so I'm certain I'll be able to arrange the revision surgery quick. After the research I've done I'm going with the roux-en-y gastric bypass. Crossing fingers that this will be a better solution for a life long way of living. If anyone is in a similar situation I would love to buddy up. Please reach out, Amy Thank you in advance, Amy

Looking for friend that can relate!

My understanding on the gas pain is that it is pretty intense after surgery and will be tolerated much better when walking as well as making gas x strips your best friend. Hope that helps -
