Surgery September 6th. I only have to do liquid the day before. The program I am in requires participants to lose a certain percentage of their body weight over 6 months prior to surgery. My requirement was 12-24lbs. I've lost almost 40lbs! Whoohoo! My surgeon said some of the weight loss is from the liver. I just started my 6 months about 2 weeks ago. I have my first nut appointment at the end of February. I have Crohn's disease, colitis, and I'm also lactose intolerant. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago, so no worries about that. Yay! I live in Massachusetts and I'm excited for this journey and to join this community!
