Extreme Fatigue/Disorientation
MoVSG17 replied to MoVSG17's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do you have any tips on how to get in more? I've been doing SMART water with ice chips, and Powerade Zero/G2. But i never feel fully hydrated. -

Thanks for replying. I do not use a CPAP. However, I've been having issues with taking in enough fluids, and I've only been able to keep down 1 Protein shake without getting sick. With ghe Fluid intake i try to do one 8 ounces of SMART Water with ice chips and then 8 ounces of G2 or Powerade Zero. Im not on track for normal food intake either. I still havent been able to progress past full liquids without complications. -

I'm 17 days post op. I'm having issues with waking up before 11am/noon. It doesnt matter what time I fall asleep the night before, my body will not wake up. If i do manage to somehow wake up within 10 minutes i am asleep again. When I do wake up, I'm extremely weak and kind of disoriented. I have an appointment Monday with my doctor and I plan on telling him. However, does this get better over time?

Im 10 days post op, VSG, and I'm having issues staying hydrated. I've tried drinking SMART Water throughout the day but i find i just end up with heartburn when i try to sleep at night. Any tips? I'm looking into getting electrolyte strips, but i wanted to explore all other options first. Sent from my LGLS775 using the BariatricPal App

I did self pay here in Louisiana. Thomas Borland in New Iberia. $9800. Heard a rumor that he was the cheapest in the United States. He only does VSG though. I was sleeved by him on 1/30/17. Doing great so far. Good luck! Sent from my LGLS775 using the BariatricPal App
