    Blood sugars

Honestly after my surgery I continued on clear fluids for 2 weeks. I drank or I should say sipped my water, tea, Gadorade(which helped me a lot with hydration) others drink Poweraide as well. I had jello because it basically melted in my mouth. Homemade chicken broth so I could get in some nutrients during this healing time. And all you do is sip sip sip all day. For any medications I had to take, I just crushed them up. It's not pleasant at all but you only have to do it for a short time. The days do fly by.
  2. I had my surgery in Jan of this year. Everything has been going great until this month. I have been having alot of sugar lows. Dangerous lows. For you all out there that have had to deal with a problem such as this. Is there any foods that help your sugar levels stay stable longer? I get tired of eating banana's all the time. Any suggestions? Thank you

    Blood sugars

I am really really trying to eat something small every 2 hours. It's not easy but it is helping. And not big meals but something small. Sometimes it's cottage cheese mixed with something. Or fruit of some sort. I do have to add in a carb to keep my sugars up. I practice, practice. So things are a bit better.

    Shaky Hands

Thank you for your reply. All my blood levels came back good, we just went over them yesterday. I was very Thankful that they were all good. I do take the B12 in a shot monthly. It is such a strange thing. Thank you for getting back to me.
  5. I'm not too sure if this is where I should ask this but..... Since my surgery, my hands have been very shaky. Not to low sugars or bad nutrition or anything like that. All is really good. I'm not losing weight to fast, all blood work is done and looks great. My surgery was on Jan 17, 17. Has anyone out there experience and does it get better? Or anything that made it better? Thank you for listening, worries me sometimes when I try and do fine detail of something and my hands start to shake. Some days are better then others. And no there is no history in my family of Parkinson's or anything. Like I said, it happened not to long after the surgery. Within the 1st or 2nd week.
