Just want to say hello and let you know I am thinking of you as you do your research and make your decisions. It is a big job and one that has to be for YOU. I am only 5 weeks post-op but I have already lost 20 lbs. and have more energy and more comfort already. I am, of course, in the early stages of learning to live with my band and the changes in sensations and eating patterns and drinking patterns--that is one of the hard parts for me because I am used to drinking a huge glass of water before meals and another with the meal and a hot beverage afterward. I just got my band from Dr. Aceves in Mexicali and would do the same again. As surgery goes EVERYTHING was letter perfect--care, skill, compassion, cleanliness. There was absolutely nothing to complain about and I doing very well, feel great and I have already lost 16 lbs since surgery Dec. 21. gloria

I was banded in Mexico on 12/21/2005 and need to find a fill doc. I recently moved to northwest Arkansas. Anyone know fill doc in my area? Gloria
