I'm 2 months out and I used to go daily, but my new normal is about 2 to 3 times a week. I am not constipated though. This is just my new "normal" I guess?

I'm 2 months out and loving my sleeve! It's an adjustment, but well worth it! I've dropped 50 lbs since Jan. 4th and feel great! You have to remind yourself of the strength you have within you to make positive changes. Yes, it's important to change eating habits, but the sleeve helps you to do it if your committed to the change. I liked to eat then and still do. The difference is slowing down and enjoying the first three bites instead of woofing down a whole plate and only remembering to enjoy the last three bites! I still enjoy food, but I'm learning moderation. I also don't crave sweets as much as I used to. Once you detox them out of your system, you don't crave them all the time. I have zero regrets.

3 week stall is real
honebeck replied to sleevedviolet's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I feel you! At 3 wks I stalled and now I'm 11 days into my stall! I'm beyond frustrated!!! Everyone keeps telling me to be patient and it will end, but really?!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I ate egg salad! I just mushed up the boiled egg with a fork until it was very fine, added 1/2 tsp light mayo, mustard and pickle juice. It was so yummy, and never bothered me a bit! I also had a lot of refried beans, and puréed chili with cheese. It all hit the spot for me[emoji39] Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I've read that it's normal for some people to stall when they start puréed foods, but now it's been 8 days for me!!! I'm so discouraged and the worry is starting to set in that maybe my scale will never move! Grrr:( Has anyone else had a lengthy stall? Any advice or helpful tips?

Thanks for the replies! It helps me stay in the right frame of mind! I know it should eventually drop, but it does get me discouraged after a lengthy stall. This new world is full of ups and downs, isn't it?! Thanks everyone!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Terrible taste in my mouth post op
honebeck posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm two weeks post op from my gastric sleeve and just finished my liquid phase. For the last week I have had a terrible taste in my mouth that I can't get rid of. I'm assuming it's from my healing stomach and the lack of "real" food?... Has anyone else experienced this? If you have, does it eventually go away? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I'm a week and a half post op, and someone told me about GENEPRO Protein powder. It's a tasteless powder with one Tbsp. Equaling 20 oz. of protein. It has saved me! I HATE protein drinks!!! I gag in them, but with this I just make s mini smoothie using 3 frozen strawberries, and 2-3 Tbsp. banana, a tsp. Of Greek yogurt for smoothness, a few ice chunks, and 1/4 cup Water. Then I have a yummy smoothie with 30 grams of protein! I cannot taste the powder! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I had the same thing happen! Started my period before I left the hospital and it was a heavy one! Worst timing possible because it's not easy to take care of Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
