Sleeved 2011 n never lost more than 40 pounds. Severe reflux n ulcers n just never felt restricted in my diet. Rny 5/23 n I'm definitely losing weight now unlike when I was sleeved. -

Sleeve to rny here bc I suffered bad gerd n several hiatel hernias since I got sleeved in 2011. I only lost 50 pounds with it originally also and that took year. I'm down 25 since may 1 so fingers crossed rny has better results. Research both options, attend meetings and ask questions...educate yourself on both n do the one u want and the one recommended by an excellent surgeon. This is your life so do for you!!!! Good luck -

Showered as soon as I got home...I had staples so I was allowed to let water hiy -
Scale is bs right now for me too...up a pound then down. I've official told my scale to kiss my ass at the moment bc it's my nemesis this week. Also I have had zero nausea or pain since surgery but everything I'm trying today is causing belching n pain mid shoulder blades. Don't understand it but I guess the good go with the bad.

Not allowed to lift so that's a pain. I'm tired but it's dueable. Plus trying to make sure I'm drinking is cumbersome when busy but I gotta do it. -

Incision Question: When to stop applying dressings

U can shower with your incisions...gently clean them n pat dry afterwards. Change the drain tube dressing daily if your draining a lot n after showering. U cAn let the water run over it also just don't accidentally pull on it. My incisions r staples n the are left open to air besides where my drain was which I just use a bandaid now. -
Yes that protein chicken soup is horrible tasting now to me too.
