O... The only discomfort post surgery is swallowing because the stomach will be sore and swollen from the surgery. Also if she swallows too quickly she will have discomfort. Pşýč#3ðë|¡©

I had my sleeve done just 4 days ago. I honestly had no discomfort post procedure. Full liquid diet for the first two week. Just keep encouraging her. Let her do a weigh in about 3 days Post-operatively... S he will be motivated by the weight loss. At my 3 day weigh in I lost another 6lbs. Don't let other people dampen her spirit with stupid remarks regarding why she did it etc. You just be her support system. Pşýč#3ðë|¡©

2 weeks Before the procedure you go on a very low calorie diet 600-800 carbs. 2 days just before surgery full liquid diet. I lost 6lbs pre-operatively. Post-operatively I lost another 6lbs (and it's only 3 days after surgery). This is the safest procedure one can choose....lowest risk compared to other procedures. People are so insensitive usually. They make assumptions about why you did the surgery without knowing the facts. They always assume it's because you want to be thin... And yes while that is a part of the reason don't think it's the main reason for most of us who did this. It's about being healthy and taking your life back...reversing diabetes and hypertension...
