Hello I was banded Aug/09. I have Barrett's esophagus as result from the band. I got the band out in 2015 when I had to get my gallbladder removed. I gain more weight then I ever have. So September 18 is my surgery date for RNY. I struggled so long with this weight and I need to do something about it. The sleeve was first choice until I heard so many people talk about heart burn well I already have it bad so bypass it is. Good luck with your decision. You have to do what's right for you. Try shopping at a Good Will store that is in a nice area. They carry designer brands but they are still only a set price of about $5-7 and then on certain days they sales. Hello, I have one more month of a 7 month requirement for classes. However I started a new job 3 months ago and still training. So I'm put off surgery until August or September. Has anyone choose to have surgery months after requirements? Did you have any problems getting approved. Did you retake any classes or just go weigh in each month?

I had my gallbladder removed July 2015. It felt like real bad gas pains and nothing would help the pain. So went to ER it was my gallbladder they wanted me to have it out but I was graduating from college that same afternoon. So they gave me pain meds in the hospital and I was fine. I ate a really bland diet and put off the surgery until I was able to find a surgeon that could remove my lapband at the same time. So 2 months later got it taken out. But I didn't have any attacks during those 2 months because I read up on what not to eat. Believe me the pain was so bad I didn't risk eating anything that could flare it up.

Go to settings on your phone, then go to display. There you will find font option were you can enlarge the text. Only down side is it changes the font for all your text on the phone.

It sounds like your doing right thing. Can try cutting down to no more then 35-40 carbs a day. See if that makes a difference. I know when I wanted to lose weight in the past cutting back on my carbs really did give me the jump I needed. I wouldn't recommend the band. I had mine removed 2 years ago. I'm now taking classes for bypass. Good luck I hope this is helpful.

What type of surgery did you have? A pound to 1/2 lb a day sounds good to me. Were you always working out or just started? Also have your eating habits always been 1000 calories after surgery? How many carbs are you getting a day?

Had my gallbladder removed July/2015. I asked the Dr to remove my lapband at the same time. You will know if you are having a gallbladder problem I was in so much pain. That happen to my cousin everytime she drank liquor. She has acid reflex real bad after she was sleeved. Are you on acid reflex medicine? If not take something over the counter and see if that helps.
