Got a band in 2000 - very successful but after a bad Christmas in 2013 when it completely blocked, it was never the same again!
I went from emptied to fills, dieticians, different specialists and no good.
The weight came back on.
Finally found a wonderful specialist who recognised a leakage and am now happily band free.
No more vomits, no more stuck food, no more embarrassing incidents in public, no more worry of having a foreign body inside me.
Three months latter I am at the end of my liver shrinking diet (surely the worst part!) and I am looking forward to having the Gastric Sleeve operation on the 30/01/2017 (proper English/Australian date format).
