I've struggled with my weight all my life, on and off diets throughout.  Having Bariatric Surgery crossed my mind a few times.  Then June 2016 on of my neighbors got sleeved.  This gave me the push to start looking into WLS.  Currently I am set on having the bypass.  I really hope the doctor doesn't scare me out of it.  He said it is my choice whether to have the sleeve or the bypass. I really want the bypass since I feel that I need a healthy fear in me to discourage myself from eating high sugar or high fat foods.
 
My hope is that through this website I will make connections with people that know what it's like to have walked in my shoes.

January 11, 2017 - Consult with Surgeon to get the process rolling.  Counts as my 1st of 6 Monthly Medical Weight Mgmt appts. YAY!!  One down, five more to go.
