It's been 2 months since surgery and I am by now on a regular diet with no restrictions. I am still having a hard time fulfilling my protein requirements without adding powder or a shake. What do you eat in a day ? Need ideas

If those are gas pains, you need to walk walk and then walk some more. Everybody says it but it's important. You can use gasex strips. They help. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I was sleeved almost 2 weeks ago and currently on puréed foods. While I get full after a few tea spoons of food, I really feel hungry in between the meals even though I eat every 3 hrs as per dr orders. I didn't expect to be hungry. Is it common? Does it go away or will I always feel hungry but just not able to eat as much? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I just had my surgery on 1/30 and know exactly what you are talking about. What helped me was wonderful people on this forum and reading their success stories, and also thinking about why I am doing it. I made the decision because I've been carrying the weight for my entire life I couldn't do it anymore. I could lose the weight before but I could never maintain it. My weight prevented me from doing things I wanted to. My weight was detrimental to my health and it would only get worse. Surgery is no fun, but it is a tool for a better future. Think what you are doing it. What are your reasons? It will put things in perspective and calm you down. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have a 100.4 fever when i got home from the hospital. There everything was normal. Otherwise i am feeling ok except for tenderness in the stomach. I tried calling the doctor but he doesnt have a service and it says in case of emergency call 911. I dont want to go to a random hospital but not sure if it can wait till morning. Anyone had this? Dry mouth and white coating on the tongue
NervousAly posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery yesterday morning and since last night my mouth is excruciatingly dry. My tongue has a white coating on it too. Nurses and doctors say that they are no sure what it might be. Did it happen to anyone here? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
