Today is my one month anniversary. I was 415 on March 3rd, 389 on my day of surgery (4/14) and 357 this morning! So a total of 57 lbs since 3/3 and 32lbs since surgery. Needless to say I am very pleased.

12 days out and I finally slept on my stomach last night. Thank god for a great nights sleep!

Still not comfy on my belly and I was banded on the 14th. I can't wait until I can sleep normal again.

Another 4/14/08 bandster here. Thank god my doc treats pain agressively.

I get all my Protein from BariatricEating.com. Right now I have three that I absolutely love. One is called Achiev One. It is basically a Starbuck's Frappacinno, but it has 20g of protein, no fat and 5g of carbs. That has been my Breakfast. I try and drink 1 - 1.5 Lean Body Bananas and Cream Protein shakes a day (40g a pop there) and they taste amazing. I would live off them if I could. And I also sip on some whey Gourmet Smooth Chocalate Peanut Butter protein mixed with 12oz of Water (2 scoops, 44g of protein, 4g fat, 6g sugar). As for the water, I always have a bottle in my hand and sip at it all day long. I have always been a big water drinker though.

I am definitely feeling like I am in clover today. Pretty much off the pain meds, got in 100oz of water and 122g of protein. All bodily functions back to normal and all plumbing now verified functioning (thank god, was worried for a couple of days, lol).

3 days here. I took some Milk of Magnesia on day 3 and have been great ever since. It also took away a ton of the gas pain, thank god! -
From first visit to surgery... how long?

I was self pay and it took 18 days from consult to surgery. It was a jam packed 18 days though, went to some doctor of some kind almost every day for those 2 weeks. -
I am officially a member of band land as of 7:30am Monday. I am at home, dealing with a little gas pain, a little incision pain, but nothing too major. Glad that I am past it though, got my first good night of sleep in a while last night. I got really nervous this weekend.

I got mine on Monday! I definitely have some incision pain, but nothing a little bit of pain meds can't handle. And thank god, the gas pains have been manageable. Excited to be on the journey!
