I want to see if anyone else has experienced what I'm experiencing. I have had my lapband for over 2 years now. I went a year and a half with NO issues...I had 8.5 cc's in my band (I think I have a 14cc band). Anyway all of a sudden I started having reflux so he removed 2 cc's. Then I ended up having to have all of it removed. I stayed completely unfilled for about 2 months then I started getting fills again. Well I"m having a hard time with them. I got my first one OK..then the next one I got was 2 cc's and had to have 1.5 removed, went back the next month and got .5 cc's and had to get it removed. So now I only have 4.5 cc's in my band and it seems that everytime I get a fill even a small one, I have to get it removed. I don't know why but I do know that I need a fill and right now I really don't even feel like I have a band. Have any of you experienced this and if you have, what was wrong? Is something wrong with my band???? Please help!!!

I'm feeling that my band has slipped too...I do not throw up daily but I only have 5cc's in a 14cc band and occassionally get stuck. I had a bad stuck episode a few weeks ago. Since then, EVERYTIME i eat my stomach gets so sore and hurts....When I stand up, it hurts to stand up straight for a few minutes. Could this be a slipped band?

It frustrates the CRAP out of me too!!! I go next Thursday for a fill under flouro so maybe we can see what's going on. I hope so!!

I really need some advice b/c I get all anxious and stuff. I do go to the Dr tomorrow. I feel like I have the symptoms of a slipped band. I have had heartburn for a couple months and have eaten LOTS of tums and took prilosec. But lately I have all of a sudden started getting BAD reflux so bad that I wake up 4-5 times a night choking and inhaling it into my lungs. I've done this 4 night straight this week. I know sudden onset of reflux is a sign of a slipped band. Just so you know, I was banded in March 2008 and had my last fill in November 2008. Tonight I don't think I can eat anything b/c I have this lump feeling in my throat and I am constantly feeling the need to burp and when I can, something comes up. Sorry to be so gross, I just need advise.:thumbdown: Thanks:confused:

Hello everyone, I just found out about this site but i was banded on 3/11 also. I am feeling ok..I know i'm not getting in enough Protein but I don't see how i can. Any suggestions???? I'm still sore of course but that is to be expected. I went on my first journey to Wal-Mart since surgery and I walked around a bit...It was nice:) Congrats to everyone who was banded on 3/11 or anytime near:)
