Welcome back! Good to have you back. I was following your posts pre-surgery and have a new understanding and appreciation for them now that I’m post-op.

No such thing as insignificant. If it gets you thinking, then it’s good! -

Calling all October sleevers!!
njgal replied to Detroit_25's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Every program is different. It was fine by mine but then again, I also am allowed to drink coffee 4-5 post-op. I’m over a week post-op now and have yet to want coffee though. Good luck. -

Absolutely... you can be the poster child for joining a gym. They may even give you a couple of free trainer sessions -

Speak to your team and use this board to vent as needed [emoji4] -
As long as it comes out though, eh? [emoji12] See how it goes tomorrow and might be good to invest in flushable wet wipes, the dry stuff will hurt sooner or later.

Best piece of advice you can offer for a post-op sleeve patient

What a great write-up. I mean, I’m only 1 week post-op but can totally see the value in all of these. Thank you! -

Are there any preop smokers out there
njgal replied to fabnfit's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Cold turkey, 6 mo prior to surgery. More like smoking quit me, you know? -

Did I make a huge mistake?--changed surgery date
njgal replied to Jeanne Zucker's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Absolutely!! If changing your date guarantees your husband being there good. As someone who just went through it a week ago I can tell you my husband was a blessing to have at the hospital and when I finally made it home two days later. Good luck!! -
Naturally or due to surgery? I’ve always run in the 10-7 range. First couple of days post surgery it was 9-5 range. Now it’s back to normal (1 week post op). I did notice my resting HR went down from 70s to 50s though and that’s back up as well.

Nice progress, congratulations!!
