  1. Hey, that’s awesome. It’s good to be busy busy... like you said; doesn’t leave room for one to mind frick themselves )
  2. And yesterday I had my pre-op class. I dragged my husband there because supportive as he is his lack of interest in the details was disconcerting. He was a good sport and sat through it all We went through all the good stuff; you know... prep stuff (what to take, what not to take)... meds, pre-op diet details, pages and pages of explanation for the post-op diet, I got samples.... his NP went through it all with us. Then my surgeon came in and answered any remaining questions. And finally the insurance coordinator came and went over a few things. Overall very informative and reassuring really. All set for tuesday!

Drink Up! Water for Weight Loss

I’m a little confused about the ice water part; I’ve always been told to drink room temp or warm water because of its effects on the stomach.
  7. I don’t have an answer but I’ll bump it up because I’m worried about it too:)
  8. You tell ‘em girl!! It’ll feel so good to tell them to shove their practice up their ***. Just a little longer, you can do it!!
  9. And yet somehow you will... if you work dive in, organize, go crazy... if at home bindge watch something or start knitting... either way time will pass quickly, you’ll see. Good luck!
  10. Every time I open a thread on the app I get error messages. One example is this. Is there an ongoing problem or is this an issue related to my phone? It started yesterday evening. Thanks!

    Error messages

Thanks Ken! The debug feature waa turned off but I deleted the app, restarted my phone and reloaded the app and now it seems to work fine. Cheers!
  12. My pcp’s first reaction was to tell me about a patient of hers who had died from having bariatric surgery... only upon further inquiry did she mention that this patient had a host of other problems and should not have been cleared for this surgery to begin with. As for me; she said she wasn’t 100% for it but if I asked her to she would write the recommendation letter so I did. Anyway, during my clearance practice I found out that if your pcp doesn’t play ball some insurances will also accept a letter from your ob/gyn so ladies, keep that in mind as an alternative.
